Fox News just announced the decision to terminate popular host Eric Bolling amid allegations of inappropriate text messages but as of Saturday morning, that was the least of Bolling's troubles. Sources are now reporting that Bolling's 19-year-old son, affectionately known as Eric Chase, passed away on Friday night. A source close to Eric Bolling confirmed the news to Mediaite. A statement from Fox News is expected soon.
Bolling has spoken of his son fondly and often on Twitter:
It is clear that Bolling deeply loved his son and took great pride in watching him grow up.

TMZ says he killed himself in Boulder, CO, off campus. I guess that is where he was attending school
You two DO know how twisted you sound, don’t you?
Started early on the weekend?
Fox should be ashamed of themselves, firing him without proof.
Fox has become a complete shame since the Murdoch Kids took over. Prayer for Eric and his wife. The loss of a child, is the worst loss a person can experience. The pain never really goes away.
I totally agree. My heart hurts right now. Hear that Eric is going to file a law suit and I hope he cleans the clocks of the wenches that made the claim as well as FoxNews!!!
They will come where it will be impossible for you to land on your feet. EVERYONE in DC and your state governments are working to wipe you out.
Dreamers (DACA) being made permanent law is step one. Next step, Trumo will cut a deal with Pelosi and Schumer for blanket amnesty and an open order border policy in exchange for his wall (which will have plenty of doors).
Just wait and see. It’s that bad.
Not the place or time for that tho
This very sad. College peers can be very horrendous.
I don’t think economic pressures would have come to bear on the 19yo son of a TV personality.
The accusations against his father and the family dealing with that, however, I could imagine adding to regular teen angst.
One of our daughters is the same age (19) and the pain to lose a child at the threshold of young adulthood is beyond imagining.
Prayers up.
The propensity to blame himself may be nearly unbearable. Heartfelt prayers for Eric and his family.
Terrible news...
My thoughts go out to the Bolling family this morning.
Prayers for you Eric.
May the Peace of Christ be with you and your family
This is horrible news. May the Lord bless and comfort the Bolling family in their loss today, and everyday of their lives. And Lord, please, Bless the soul of Eric Chase. May he rest with you in Heaven today. Amen.
This is not being widely reported. I sure hope this is fake news.
So sorry. And I’m sorry that FOX fired Eric Bolling.
Rupert Murdoch has blood on his hands.
If true this is heartbreaking. I’m saddened to hear this.
God’s mercy on Eric Bolling and his entire family.
In the Tier I stamping plant where I worked in Detroit, the Sanitation Dept. manager was a 35 year + black man who was the greatest manger in the plant and nobody ever had a bad thing to say about him. He was what you could consider a harmless "friendly flirt" with all the ladies, black and white.
That all came to an end back in 2006. The plant had laid off or retired all the sanitation dept. and hired an outside contracting company to take over. Apparently Mel said something to one of the female contractors that was taken the wrong way and she reported him to the HR manager. Due to the company's "zero tolerance" policy on sexual harassment, Mel was immediately suspended and forced to retire.........
Having personally known Mel for 34 years, I suspect the actions of the female contractor were retribution for him expecting her to do the job she was hired to do...............In the management world, it's not what he said vs. she said but rather what she said he said.
God has a purpose and a plan for you. Don’t give in to despair. That’s what your enemy wants you to do.
What I was thinking was that maybe, hopefully not, that his dad’s and family problems had affected the son’s action. Who could live with that guilt?
He probably got terribly bullied at college for his father’s alleged misdeed and for having been on Fox in the first place. Horrible.
