Miamis mayor on Hurricane Irma: If this isnt climate change, I dont know what is

Miamis Republican mayor called on President Donald Trump and the head of the Environmental Protection Agency Friday to acknowledge that climate change is playing a role in the extreme weather that has slammed his city and the continental U.S. this summer.
Speaking from Miamis Emergency Operations Center in downtown, where the citys senior public safety and political authorities will ride out Category 4 Hurricane Irma this weekend, Mayor Tomás Regalado told the Miami Herald that he believes warming and rising seas are threatening South Floridas immediate and long-term future.
This is the time to talk about climate change. This is the time that the president and the EPA and whoever makes decisions needs to talk about climate change, said Regalado, who flew back to Miami from Argentina Friday morning to be in the city during the storm. If this isnt climate change, I dont know what is. This is a truly, truly poster child for what is to come.

Shut your pieface. The last thing we need now is more of this political bilge, lying to people in harms way. The Democrat party is so sick there is no hope for them.
I wonder what the Miami Mayor had to say after the 1935 Labor Day Hurricane, 400+ killed.
It’s the Westerly Tradewinds.
I believe that’s how Columbus got over here.
When was that.....1492?
Or the 1926 hurricane in Miami itself that killed 300+
“Don’t hurricanes occur during hurricane season or am I wrong? “
I made a joke to a liberal about this storm being, obviously, due to climate change. He got red-faced, choking mad. Fortunately, I was leaving. Funny thing is, he can name every storm, where it came ashore, and what category it was back to the thirties. He’s a weather nut case with an astonishing memory. But, this one is obviously due to Climate Change.
He has a few psychological buttons; Hillary was torpedoed by Russians, Comey, hostile media (really!), the fake email scandal... Seriously, liberalism is a mental disorder. He’s on some serious medication, and it keeps him stable, but it doesn’t cure liberalism.
OK!! Everybody pay attention!
Lesson for today:
1. The sun is 1,300,000 times as big as the earth.
2. The sun is a giant nuclear furnace that controls the climates of all its planets.
3. The earth is one of the suns planets.
4. The earth is a speck in comparison to the size of the sun.
5. Inhabitants of the earth are less than specks.
Study Question: How do less-than-specks in congress plan to control the sun?
Weather is not climate. This is very windy, very rainy weather. And this pattern has been occurring in this part of the world for thousands of years. Not forever, as climate was perhaps much different at one time, so in that sense, climate has changed. Reasons for the change are not always so clearly understood.
If the hurricane persisted for several months every year, or even unending over several years, then it could be termed as part of “climate”.
Monsoons are weather phenomena, they do not constitute “climate” in and of themselves, but they are on a recurring annual basis, so they become part of “climate”.
Look.
Climate changes. It *ALWAYS* has.
Where I’m sitting now was once under more than a mile of ice, just a geological heartbeat ago.
When you tell me how we can control the interior processes of the Sun, the Earth’s magnetic field, its molten core temperature, volcanoes, and the utterly unfathomable mystery of the Seas, then you might have some way to regulate the climate to what you see fit.
But if you think that changes in climate can be regulated by taxing us into penury to transfer trillions of dollars in wealth to 3rd world tyrannies, the biggest polluters per capita on the planet, while cynics like Algore and this bastard mayor skim untold wealt off the top of the “carbon exchanges”, then you need to get your emotions in check and instead confront the axiom, “adapt or perish”.
Actually I’d call it reversion to the mean which it a powerful force.
Did the idiot say that after not having hurricanes for many years??
I guess he doesn’t know what is.
Has he ever heard of the Miami Hurricanes? What an imbecile.
Weather and climate confuse the ignorant every time someone notices the weather.
Political Irma talking points already brewing before Irma hitting us. Ass-clowns never fail, using Rahm Emanuel’s: Never wasting these kinds “opportunities” !!!
Ask an honest Geography professor how our Eastern and Gulf Coast coastal plains were formed.
They have since way before there were weather records. That's why most shore areas were sparsely populated. Every now and then one would come through and blow everything and everyone away.
What's new is high density housing, lots of pavement, and destruction of places for the water to go.
H.A.A.R.P., not global warming.
Andrew ???
What did he think about Camille (1969)?
For that matter, what did he think about the Great Colonial Hurricane of 1635?
