The 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals on Thursday rejected the Trump administration's limited view of who is allowed into the country under its revised travel ban.
A three-judge panel decided that grandparents, cousins and similarly close extended family relationships of people in the U.S. shouldn't be prevented from coming to the country. The court also said refugees already accepted by a resettlement agency shouldn't be banned. The appeals court decision upholds a decision from a district court judge in Hawaii, who said the administration's view was too narrow. The decision impacts the revised travel ban, which temporarily suspends new visas and travel for people coming from the Muslim-dominated countries of Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria and Yemen.

That would be an enormous accomplishment.

These are policy decisions, not legal ones, and should be none of the business of the courts.

Hold their feet to the fire with judicial reprimands for unconstitutional judgements, split it into 3 and pack them with conservative judges.

Exactly...The 9th is overturned far more than any other circuit by SCOTUS for their activism.
I suggest Trump make three courts out of it.
Further I would like to see him use a lottery and demand two thirds of the current judges on the 9th Circuit Court, have to move to the other courts.
Each of the three courts would get 1/3rd of the current Ninth Circuit Court Judges.
To avoid the judges being able to plead hardship, I would keep the three courts centered in the same city they are now.
Thus they would not have to sell their property or leave family members behind. This takes away their ability to object on hardship.
Then all Trump would have to do is appoint 2/3rds of the justices needed for each court to be full, and you’ve just turned all three of the courts to the good side.
The Ninth hears too many cases. It needs to be split up.
As for people who might complain about it not being fair for jurisdictions to have to come to one of the three courts where they would remain, it would be the same place they always came. It shouldn’t make a difference.
That would be a great way to break up the 9th, the majority of the sitting judges couldn’t really put up much of a fuss.
The one that comes to mind that would blow his top would be Stephen Reinhardt and I’d love to see his face if it should come about. lol

Yes, Ramona Ripston’s wife would be very upset.
They will reverse, but the problem remains. I urge the President to split the 9th circuit into 2, designating each wacko judge to the farthest corner of the new circuit prompting their resignations. Would liberal honorable Mr. XYZ living in San Francisco be happy in the middle of the desert, Phoenix perhaps...or Reno, or Spokane, Fairbanks ?

BTW, I might make a stipulation that the three courts remain in the current location only for another 20-30 years.
That way future appointments to the court would know what was coming, so they could retire or opt out of the appointment.
That way eventually the courts would be centrally located in their districts. Hopefully a Republican president or dominate Congress would put these courts in a Conservative town.
the communist judiciary is a disgrace to 250 years of jurisprudence in our beloved country, They dont care about law or anything but taking your stuff and giving it to parasites. They are truly pathetic. They should be impeached but republicrats do nothing— EVER!!
