Samaritan’s Purse. Franklin Graham’s charity. Very little administrative fees.
Stale Curds? That deserves a beat down! ;)
Thank you, it works for us!
so now the projected center is going over the everglades?
Samaritan’s Purse is great. Absolutely NOT Red Cross or Salvation Army.
Not good.
Anyone that is not convinced that Irma is a big deal needs to consider this: Maxwell AFB in Montgomery, Alabama is the Fema staging point for the southeast. They have closed off streets on the base to make room for the 800 trucks that are coming. Think about that, 800 trucks. My son was security police during Katrina and there was nothing like this.
I’d suggest the Salvation Army, or Samaritan’s Purse.
Re: Irma Fox News Cable.
“WHY ON EARTH have they not opened the southbound lanes (except maybe one lane) to northbound/evacuating traffic?????”
I’ve heard (not sure where/how) that that should happen tomorrow. True? IDK.
I hadn't heard of Mercy Chefs but their work in South Texas is reported in high praise.
Glad I missed it. We used to live by an aging where house that sold retail to the locals and brought in fresh same day curds. Don’t take for granted you heritage with cheese. Cheese everywhere else sucks! They just don’t have a clue.
“Cheese everywhere else sucks! They just dont have a clue.”
So very true!
Learning to make various cheeses in my retirement years is on my Bucket List. :)
Can’t answer that.. she was talking to my daughter in law, but was frustrated and still a ways to go and 75 is stacked all the way even thru GA.
I have a grandson headed this way from Orlando area. I hope they started out before this morning.. gas is scarce. They were gathering valuables and necessities together last I heard.
Samaritan’s Purse is the only one I would trust at this point.
I’m shocked that drivers haven’t made at least one more lane on the berms.
Thanks. That’s what was also so very freaky, here in Houston area, with Harvey...the dang tornadoes!!! Our power was out for several days, but we have a generator that kept humming right along, thankfully.
“God is in control of everything. He does allow things that are bad to happen in our lives with the sole intent for us to turn to Him.”
The subject of our Sunday sermon. Scripture:
“II Cor. 12:9 - And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.”
“II Cor. 12:10 - Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.”
