“God is in control of everything. He does allow things that are bad to happen in our lives with the sole intent for us to turn to Him.”
The subject of our Sunday sermon. Scripture:
“II Cor. 12:9 - And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.”
“II Cor. 12:10 - Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.”
The prevailing thought about using both lanes either side is that if they do that, there will most likely be a parking lot on both sides, that will make it impossible or extremely difficult for emergency crews to access the disaster area.
It has been discussed, that as you know, people can and do become very frightened and act irrationally during a crisis, alot of the time. They may well jump over whatever barriers are there and use the roads anyway. This has happened before.
Like a run on the bank..
amen :)
Amen!!!!!! to everything you said.
