Anyone that is not convinced that Irma is a big deal needs to consider this: Maxwell AFB in Montgomery, Alabama is the Fema staging point for the southeast. They have closed off streets on the base to make room for the 800 trucks that are coming. Think about that, 800 trucks. My son was security police during Katrina and there was nothing like this.
800 semis may seem like a lot but the supplies quickly thin out once inside the disaster zone.
Hopefully a few tanker trucks are in line with the rest of the fleet.
