Kurt Smolek, a Diplomatic Security special agent with the State Department and Dayton Police Academy graduate, was found dead in the Potomac River on Wednesday and the cause is listed as undetermined pending an autopsy.
We're hearing tonight that Smolek, 45, is a 1998 academy graduate and one of his assignments as a special agent was as a member of Condoleezza Rice's security team.
According to DC Metro police, Smolek was last seen Monday, Aug. 28, in the 600 block of Water Street, Southwest, about 10 p.m. A missing persons bulletin described hims as white with graying brown hair, brown eyes, 5 feet 8 inches tall and 190 pounds.

Hillary needs to be locked up as a matter of public safety. A lot of lives could be saved if she’s out of commission.
There seems to be a great miasma of wickedness about her.
This reminds me of a CIA retiree who took a canoe out on the Potomac.
It’s the harbor in the Washington Channel, which is between the original Potomac shoreline and the filled in land that created East Potomac Park.

600 Water Street S.W. — the SW waterfront is currently DC’s biggest reconstruction zone. For the last couple of years, it’s been a mess with demolitions and new buildings going up. The earlybirds have already scored the bargains, and a formerly rather rundown area along the Washington Channel is emerging as a very hot mixed-use area. 600 Water Street is in the marina area and close to one of the dinner cruise boat locations. If Smolek was a kayaker or boater, there would be a natural reason he’d be in the water. The story gives the 600 Water Street block as the place he was last seen. It doesn’t say how far downstream the body was found.
Obviously more than enough to get himself removed from his duties. Amazing how many people who have even been near to or around the Clintons have died mysteriously. Simply amazing.

I live here. Like anywhere else, people do not just fall into the river. Did he stumble in after an all night drinking binge? Hard to imagine but what else could have happened?
