AFAIK, even Columbus himself never set foot on the now continental US.
I'm certain there were indigenous people who lived in LA, but they were NOT "native" to the area.
They all came from Asia originally.
Maybe an anthropologist can explain why Native Americans may *resemble* what we think of as "Asian", but they really DO have their own distinct appearance.

Chris Columbus was a slave owner? LA City Council, in Columbus’ diary he talked about the Caribe eating the Taino (or Arawak). The native Americans weren’t the peaceful people liberals wants you to believe.
Actually, Columbus et al. brought that horse... and cattle, chickens, pigs, the wheel (blame Columbus for the choked LA Freeway system!) etc.
Columbus and subsequent Europeans brought ideas which had come to them from all over the 'discovered' world. And they returned to Europe with new ideas and products gained in the New World. Not just Gold & Silver, but maize, tomatoes, potatoes ...
If the LA City Council is so hot on "America for the Indigenous Peoples", then stop your 'Cultural Appropriation' and quit using anything connected with Europe or Americans of European descent.
