Agree that the police are NOT clueless. They actively conspired with the thugs to disarm the conservatives and leave them vulnerable to the violent left. The police are not now nor have they ever been our friends. They are simply the part of the government that uses force to accomplish its goals. In this case the goal was suppressing conservative voices. They are the “standing army” that the founders warned against.
