These police officers who let mobs run wild under political orders must have no self-respect at all. Is the entire department corrupt? I guess it can happen if they only hire Democrats.

Police officers have been ordered to stand down by their leadership. The officers have no choice. They cannot disregard their commanders.

Either the Berkeley PD’s rank and file subscribe to the Nuremberg defense, or the PD’s higher ups have cherry picked officers who do.
