MLK, Christopher Columbus statues vandalized in Houston parks

Vandals splattered paint onto a bronze bust of Martin Luther King Jr. and a 7-foot-tall statue of Christopher Columbus in Houston as nationwide turmoil over historical statues spilled beyond the protests over Confederate monuments.

The MLK statue in the historically black community of Sunnyside was found smeared with white paint early Thursday morning.

The towering statue of Christopher Columbus in the Montrose area was doused with red paint sometime Thursday night, Houston police officials said Friday.

Montrose is the Queer Quarter of Houston. What do they have against Columbus?

I wonder who the "offended" think ate the Anasazi?

Pretty sure it wasn't Columbus or George Washington.

Analysis of coprolite[edit]

The initial reports speculating that the seven humans had been cannibalized was met with skepticism from some scientists and criticism by Native American groups including the Ute tribe. (The Ute are a separate people from either the alleged victims or the alleged perpetrators.) The Ute have a strong oral tradition of peace between their ancestors and neighboring groups, which is not necessarily in agreement with the traditions of other groups or historical information.[6]

To investigate the theory that cannibalism had been practiced at the Cowboy Wash site, Richard Marlar, a University of Colorado molecular biologist examined the coprolite (fossilized human feces) found on site and discovered it tested positive for human myoglobin, which is found in human muscle tissue. This type of myoglobin was not found in 20 'control' coprolites in comparable sites.[7] This indicated the feces contained the remains of digested human flesh.[8] Malar also found the myoglobin protein during a chemical analysis of a cooking pot at the ancient Anasazi site.

——Vandals splattered paint onto a bronze bust of Martin Luther King Jr.-—

Finally.....the vandals are actually patriots, real Americans that refuse to be eaten by lions

9 PM the sirens go off. 9 pm all kids under the age of 16 must be home. No more than three allowed in one group.

Maybe earlier and less.

Montrose is the LGBT center of Houston so, obviously, they are trying to beautify these statues in a multicultural rainbow!

Columbus is such a pivotal figure that no one alive today would be here if he had not existed. Gays hate their lives, so they hate Columbus.

And, I’m not saying no one would have discovered the New World. It was inevitable. But he changed history in a way that affected everyone. People would still be here today (barring some very dark timeline). Maybe they’d be a well adjusted society, maybe they’d be protesting Balboa. Who knows. You and I would not be here.

So, is MLK an Uncle Tom now? Are they going to rename all the streets?

The left knows how to overthrow a government. They started the violence in Charlottesburg. They trapped Trump and changed his words to make him racist. They encouraged the folks to destroy or remove symbols of this country’s history. They are in process of overturning the Constitution!

Enjoy the eclipse.

Liberal bio of Columbus: He was an evil white man, brought diseases, caused other evil white men to come to the new world. He tried to spread Christianity. Paved the way for slavery.

White paint on the King statue symbolizes the perception among militant blacks that he “acted white”.

I’ve always wondered... how did the killer (supposedly James Earl Ray, but one wonders) just happen to be there, with a perfect line of fire... just when MLK walked out on that balcony? Inside job Jesse?

In fact there was a civil case brought against the “insiders” and they were found guilty. I can’t remember the details, but there was a Policeman that later went on to the FBI or CIA, as well as the Mafia involved.

Had to do with some labor disputes IIRC, I’m thinking it was the Mafia guy who gave the order and some of the police were the Benedict Arnolds.

I have repeated since the mess in Charlottesville-—WHERE THE POLICE SAID—WE’RE LEAVING & THEY DID-—— that the footprint of MLK was FAAAAR greater in the USA than the Confederate items. Even a Federal holiday!!! John Deere & Cyrus McCormick deserve a Federal holiday before MLK, IMO. Their inventions have fed the world-——Plain & simple

Streets—roads-—highways—municipal buildings—schools—museums-—you name it, Martin Luther King, Jr. Statues—Plaques—memorials—monuments....MLK.

IF the blacks think the whites in this country are going to kowtow & run from them, they had better think again.

Democrat strategy is looking like a race war Charlie Manson fever dream.

They were doing better shoving their shit through the courts. They’re not going to like the outcome if it pours out into the fields.
