OAKLAND, Calif. — Last weekend, when a 27-year-old bike messenger showed up at the “Unite the Right” rally in Charlottesville, Va., he came ready for battle. He joined a human chain that stretched in front of Emancipation Park and linked his arms with others, blocking waves of white supremacists — some of them in full Nazi regalia — from entering.

Trump displayed enormous courage in his two press conferences stating the simple fact that there were violent elements on both sides.
In all of the confrontations to date (Milo, for example) it was a "spontaneous protest" by locals (college kids wearing black masks, Soviet imagery flags, and baseball bats I suppose) opposing "right wing extremism" (anything they disagree with, including random old dudes with Trump hats on).
CNN had never run a single story on ANTIFA. They did this week because of Trump saying Antifa was promoting "peace through violence." They've since removed that comment.
ABC had been working on a 20/20 inside investigation into Antifa and the Neo-Nazis (all 40 of them) for months. They finally ran that story because of Trump.
Now the MSM has verified that there are violent groups and 'many sides' to the political violence we've seen.
Back to the NYT... note they don't use "Antifa" or "ANTIFA" - the name this organized (many chapters, flags, international group) but "antifa" -- all lowercase implying it's not a real group but a ragtag bunch of Nazi fighters.
Does Romney now support Antifa? He said regarding Charlottesville there weren't "many sides." MSM just proved him - and themselves - to be liars and Trump, once again, to be correct.
There really are only two sides.
Us and them.
Us = law abiding citizens that love this country, the founders, and the constitution.
Them = those who wish to change the country through any means necessary.
These groups aren’t organized to fight the false flag Nazis that occasionally have a rally; they are organized to fight anyone opposed to the Bolshevik agenda - just another link in the “losers of 2016” chain that shows up at EVERY occasion now: BLM, femiNazis, La Raza, Bolsheviks, etc.
They are now fighting not the tiny “far right”, but from the center rightward.

After Romney lost the Rinos commissioned a study to see what they needed to do. Expand the base. Appeal to working class. Trump does exactly that and wins. They hate him for winning.

Even the brownshirts originally filled a vacuum created by an ineffective government that wouldn’t support law & order; the attraction of Nazism in the early days was that when a group of Bolsheviks would show up to demonstrate (wreak havoc) the brownshirts would be trucked in to stop them. Since the police and small army wouldn’t restore order, the public increasingly saw the brownshirts as the only ones to do so. They rose at a time when WWI veterans were being strangled with their Iron Cross ribbons, and communists thought they could overthrow the government.
These losers today, while leftists like the brownshirts, much more resemble those the brownshirts beat down to save their country.

The beauty of today's modern small arms is that they don't take much training to learn how to point them at people and pull the trigger. Only will is necessary. Antifa have shown no lack of restraint in their ability to smash storefronts, throw molotov cocktails, light cars on fire, and engage in general violence and mayhem. Do you think shooting "Nazis" will be that much of a stretch for them?
And they're part of the millions of Americans who shoot.

People do not know what the antifa and their fellow organizations are.
They are liberal fascists.
They have a utopian view, want to redefine history based on their utopian view of historical “justice.” Utopia can come about only one way: the totalitarian state.

They don't need to hide their faces anymore. Anita has been rehabilitated. These days they're heroes of the resistance! Trump is Hitler, his supporters are Nazis, and Antifa are the brave partisans.
Maybe a few months ago they needed to hide their identities but not today. Nobody is going to lose their job for getting doxxed as Antifa. Not anymore. Not after Charlottesville.
