Axios' Jonathan Swan hears Bannon has told friends he sees a massive opening to the right of Fox News, raising the possibility that he's going to start a network.
- Bannon's friends are speculating about whether it will be a standalone TV network, or online streaming only.
- Before his death in May, Roger Ailes had sent word to Bannon that he wanted to start a channel together. Bannon loved the idea: He believes Fox is heading in a squishy, globalist direction as the Murdoch sons assume more power.
- Now he has the means, motive and opportunity: His chief financial backer, Long Island hedge fund billionaire Bob Mercer, is ready to invest big in what's coming next, including a huge overseas expansion of Breitbart News.
On Day 1, Breitbart declared he's taking his West Wing infighting to the outside, telling Bloomberg Businessweek's Josh Green that he's "going to war for Trump against his opponents on Capitol Hill, in the media, and in corporate America."
The reality is that Bannon will go nuclear on former colleagues he calls "West Wing Democrats": economic adviser Gary Cohn, Jared and Ivanka ("Javanka," as he calls them) and Deputy National Security Adviser Dina Powell.
The revved-up Breitbart operation is also likely to target Speaker Ryan, as it did before Trump.

I would really like to see Breitbart, PeoplesPunditDaily, and OANN combine forces for a gigantic super ConservativeNetwork with a top polling organization and, of course, . . .
guests such as myself :)
The Murdoch boys are either business fools or pansies who are cow-towing to their SJW wives.
Hard to figure how you take the ONE franchise that sells a product that over 50% of the public wants and decides, no, you want to go with what the 10 other competitors selling what 48% of the public want.
Top polling...... KellyAnne?
I like the idea of Breitbart buying CNN if ATT divests it. That would be almost as good as the Trump election. BOOM!
As long as they keep Liz Wheeler
Not that anyone asked but I’d go with a streaming service over an actual tv station. No one watches tv anymore
About time somebody taps into this market. I only ask that they keep a focus on the inevitable splitting of agendas, minimizing conflict between the two:
1. War against the establishment
2. Success of the network
Obi Wan Banoon to the Establishment “If you strike me down I shall become more powerful than you can imagine!”
Hannity, O’Reilly, Ingram, Wayne Dupree, Allen West & Greta to name a few personalities , I might get cable to watch this network.
Cosmic justice.;-)
Thank you for this thread and most EXCELLENT AWESOME NEWS!!!
This made not only my night, but a much needed shine of light into my whole outlook these days.
FOX has been such a big disappointment in standing up and reporting real news and actual investigative reporting at that. I find myself talking to the TV way too much. Local news has been mostly unwatchable for ages.
I know it might be too much to wish for, but for those of us wanting to ‘cut the cord’ and save on bills, I would even like to see Bannon’s new news outlets being broadcast over the free airwaves. But that would also be heavily regulated though ‘gov approval’ processes. But anyway it can reach the most folks the better.
***BANNON ROCKS, GOD BLESS guide, and keep HIM safe and more, and GOD SPEED his full successes. *****
Until the feds decide it is subject to FCC. And mark my word they are trying everything they can to pull ALL media into the swamp.
Got news for him. FOX News has been there for a while. Nothing more than a dozen blonde bobbin heads doing the news that is pre-programmed leaning left.
I wish Bannon all the luck but he does not need it. He needs body armor and bomb sniffing dogs
>>A good rule rule for the new network would be to fire any male who cries on air more than once per year.
A better rule would be to fire anyone who cries on air for any reason whatsoever.
I hope not. Hannity sways with the wind. He should keep it in the Breitbart house
LOL!!!
>>Hes not a thorn in the side of the Left.... hes a frigging length of steel rebar upside their heads.
I think the Left will soon feel that rebar being inserted where the sun don’t shine!
Fox is leaving a huge vacuum for the right entrepreneur(s) to rake in billions.
One more vote for an OAN purchase. No need to reinvent the wheel.
Just be aware....I’d be cautious of Article from “Axios”...... founded in 2016 by ‘Politico’ co-founder Jim VandeHei, ‘Politico’s’ former Chief White House correspondent Mike Allen,’’’ and former ‘Politico’ Chief Revenue Officer Roy Schwartz.
