Arizona Sen. Jeff Flake called for the United States to let in immigrants who work hard, but dont have any particular skills, in an effort to hit President Donald Trump on his immigration agenda, according to his New York Times op-ed Friday.
Flake told the story of Manuel Chaidez, an illegal immigrant with no discernible skills his parents hired, to drive his point home that America should bring people willing to work hard.
In terms of material possessions, Manuel was an invisible man. His capacity for hard, backbreaking work was his sole credential in life. By no Washington bureaucrats estimation would he have been judged a high value immigrant, Flake wrote. He didnt speak much English. He didnt come from money. He hadnt finished high school.
Manuel was willing to work hard and with his hands Flake argued, which is a crucial skill to America and its ability to thrive.

So is Flake now a proponent of repealing minimum wage laws for all employers or just his family?

How about "working hard" to become a LEGAL immigrant? Why didn't his parents help him with that?
Unfortunately Arizona has and open primary. I would not doubt that Flake gets more dimoKKKRAT votes than Republican votes.
It's hard to decide who is the worst creep in the US Senate. Senate Flake sure is on the short list.
Wendi Ward for Senate!
“...It’s hard to decide who is the worst creep in the US Senate...”
It’s even harder to find the few that are not creeps.
A number of states allow only unaffiliated voters to participate in any party primary they choose, but do not allow voters who are registered with one party to vote in another party’s primary. This system differs from a true open primary because a Democrat cannot cross over and vote in a Republican party primary, or vice versa. Some of these states, such as Colorado and New Hampshire, require that unafilliated voters declare affiliation with a party at the polls in order to vote in that party’s primary.

Lock him up. 5 years.

5 years per violation.
Resign!!!!
Flake is a damn FLAKE.
Open primary states require a new stratagem. Find DINOs to run in ‘Rat primaries while you’re getting conservatives to run in Pubbie primaries. Otherwise we’re fighting half a battle.
Hmm... not a lot of ambiguity there that would keep one’s butt out of a most unpleasant sling... at least for schlubs like us.
It's ironic, these people that hire illegals have enough money to hire legal Americans, with liability insurance, bonded etc, but the cheap SOBs continue to demand low wage illegal labor.
How many in middle America can hire maids and laborers to do the work for them? And how many would be stupid enough to bring that type of liability onto their property? Not me! Profits regardless of consequences.
Sounds lie Flake’s family took advantage of Manuel’s illegal immigration status—paid him dirt so he had nothing and worked work long hours doing backbreaking work. The Flakes were such benevolent employers...

Manuel had to work hard because otherwise, he would have been deported.
Flake truly is a scumbag. Maybe the left should be taking down any hanging pictures of him...
