ARLINGTON Ever since Six Flags opened in 1961, the six flags that have flown over Texas have been a staple of the park.
No more.
As of Friday morning, the five flags other than the United States flag representing France, Spain, Mexico, the Republic of Texas and the Confederacy are being left to the history books.

Fact is, the under 50 generation may notice but most don’t give a flying flip one way or the other. The further under that line you go the less they care. Not all mind you but most.

But they don’t know that.

“Ever since Six Flags opened in 1961, the six flags that have flown over Texas have been a staple of the park.”
The company should issue a statement condemning “in the strongest possible terms” those who fought inside the Alamo. Maybe that would help them sell an additional 65 cents worth of tickets.
Meanwhile, just run up the white flag and be done with it.

We are living in a country gone mad.

This was posted just a bit earlier:
Six Flags Over Texas will not remove Confederate flag
Six Flags Over Texas has flown the Confederate States of America flag since the park opened in 1961, and that is not going to change despite growing pressure around the country following the violence in Charlottesville. The "Stars and bars" was the first official flag of the confederacy. It flies alongside the American flag near the entrance to the park.

A large portion of the under 50 generation have no clue what the six flags represent.

Well, they are, for now anyway.

Every time we hear FR Texans brag about not messing with Texas, Texas caves anyway.

Hmm I think that goes over the line in the category of Don’t Mess With Texas (history).
However, give it a week. After enough Alt-left driven pressure, it might even double to two flags (but those are likely to be Antifa and ISIS).

You would think proud texans would not be bullied like a bunch of small girls being protected by Nerds.

Every time we hear FR Texans brag about not messing with Texas, Texas caves anyway. That's Dallas...well, Arlington anyway.
To: Snickering Hound
That's Dallas...well, Arlington anyway.
And the next response is, Dallas and Houston and San Antonio and Austin aren't really Texas. Only the hill country is.

What a bunch of pussies. After saying they’d let them all fly.
To: Rebelbase
That is part of my point. Not only do they not know they don’t care and aren’t even remotely interested. They could call the place Nordhausen and they wouldn’t care so long as they had rides and could be entertained.

Yesterday, they said they wouldn’t take down the Stars and Bars. Today, they did.

isnt the US flag a symbol of racism and oppression? The US had slaves long before the CW. This is Terrorist in Chief Soetoro's promised third term. We've had a resurgence in racism and oppression over the past 8 years and it's not going away.
