At some point in 2019 (if not sooner) a Republican Senator may walk into the Oval Office and say to President Trump: Mr. President, we dont have the votes, at which point the Trump presidency will end in a resignation or a conviction in the Senate.
This scenario actually occurred forty-three years ago this summer when Republican Senator Barry Goldwater walked into the Oval Office and told Republican President Richard Nixon that they didnt have the votes in the Senate to save his presidency.

The Senate doesn’t impeach.
The problem as I see it, is that in 2020 the Republican party would get about ten votes nationally.
The problem that presents is that the Democrats would regain control of everything.
While that would be a catastrophe, what’s the difference?
The Republicans in Congress won’t stand up to them anyway.
The Republican party leaders have no idea how close they are to the end of the party.
They either wake up and support Trump, or I swear to God I’ll simply stay home in 2020. It’s Trump or I’m done.
Never fear....0 to make speech in Cville (you know it’s backfired badly, if they have to call that guy in)....

It would have to be done without a real crime because there’s no crime.
This is a coup straight up. It has to stop, the sedition, the outright attempt to remove a sitting President, it has to stop.
Pretty sure sedition is a crime for journalism as well, this needs to stop.
Fraid so.
Dont forget Young, that waste of skin will do anything Daddy Mitch tells him too.
The Hill is overgrown and needs a pruning.
Or, put another way,
"The Senate is just six votes away from burning itself to the ground..."
Just try it, and see if I'm right.
misleading First the articles veto pos the house. Thats what 224 votes or so?
Bring it on, Globalists. We will hunt you down like the pigs that you are.
Newsweek.
6 votes and a crime away, do these people take 1 minute to check the Constitution what it takes to impeach???
How would it happen? How would the right go offensive with actual gunpowder?
Not defensive, like the Bundy ranch, but offense.
I.e. he’s impeached without cause. Now what?
I think it is reasonable to say the pubs do not care either, chance of a lifetime squandered by liars misrepresenting their intentions to stay in power
America Is Just Six Votes Away From Civil War II And A Return To The Constitution.
“Alternate headline -
America Is Just Six Votes Away From Civil War II And A Return To The Constitution. “
Yep I think that is a better headline
Unintended consequences.
I was just in NV; Heller’s done. And that’s from Republicans. I heard his radio ads playing already. An incumbent, running ads 15+ months before the election? Bye bye.
If he can be primaried, maybe the seat can be saved.
If they impeach Trump, it’s going to be bad for the country, but good for corrupt politicians, bureaucrats, and big corporate. Can only hope that the mainstream isn’t buying it. You can bet the house that democrats are polling this right now to see if the propaganda is working.
