Not winning and a terrible optic. This is all way more damage then the Russia BS. This is really hurting him. He spoke the truth and it’s killing him. Race is now the third rail of US politics. This is a big win for Soros and the Moores of the world. It was a set up, it worked and I don’t know if he gets out of this hole.

It’s the Never Trumpers who have touched the third rail. Either we get Trump or its the end of the GOP. No worries.

But there is no virtue in cow--towing to a Jacobin mob--none whatsoever. Someone needs to explain to some of these executives, where fair ends & totalitarian uniformity of thought takes over.

Of course, I understand very well that expertise in one field does not necessarily guarantee even competence in another. Some of the statements from those pulling out of the President's Councils do not speak very well for those who issued them.

What Drives The Trump Haters

We need to restore competitive markets. This includes breaking up monopolistic or market- over- dominant outfits like google, amazon , Facebook, ATandT especially, the four biggest giant banks, and a few of the “hidden” mass media - control combines. There’s no good reason American consumers need to put up with the abuses and inevitable rip offs of what amounts to a fascist ruling elite. (Breaking up the worst corporate control groups will have the added hereditary of helping clean up some of our corrupted politics )

Race is now the "third rail" of U.S. politics because it's the only thing Democrats have left. They have played losing hands on just about every single issue over the last 25 years, which explains why their political influence is at an abysmal historic low point right now.

Think about how pathetic you have to be if your political strategy revolves around getting people worked up over statues of white men who died more than 100 years ago.

Why are they quitting in the first place? It makes no sense.

LA Times (s)htitpieces that are all but asking for boycotts of companies whose CEOs haven't distanced themselves from President Donald "Hitler" Trump.

Pressure points? Here are the CEOs who have dropped out of Trump's business panels--and the ones who are still on

Ten bucks says that every one of the clowns who quit will use something like “Former Member of Presidential Council” to promote themselves in the future when they appear on MSLSD or CNBC.

Big business in the USA has been captured by the left. It does not serve the interests of shareholders.

I agree.

His best chance to salvage this is prime time press conference or speech to the nation.

The truth is the the rally was packed with white racists. Ultimately, that’s all that matters, not who started the violence. If you can’t 100% disown the white racists, then you end up getting labeled as one. Trump was fine until his press conference tuesday. He allowed himself to get caught appearing to defend the white racists at the rally. dumb. not winning. All you have to do is look at the headlines here today, not winning.

He took the pressure off the weak and feckless who are likely there for an insider business advantage.

And Trump can reform a new one at a later date. Winning.

yes,
and it is amazing how these big corporate CEO types are screwing their shareholders by turning down the opportunity to help shape national economic policy

Do not turn against Trump. He is the only thing between decent, hard working, Christian people and the violent, perverted, drug addicted, welfare cheating liberals. If Hillary were in office right now, not only would confederate statues be coming down but so would Christian churches and businesses.

We are rapidly heading to civil war 2. We better stick together or we won’t stand a chance.

"They are scared to be in any way connected to Trump..........."

Then they need to be made to be afraid to not be associated with him. It is up to conservatives to figure out how to make these CEOs miserable and it is time for President Trump to start to mobilize his base into people power to bring direct pressure against the enemies foreign and domestic who are arrayed against Trump and patriotic Americans.

Don't be a loser, dude.

If intelligent Americans used headlines to dictate their attitudes about anything, we'd be sitting here on FreeRepublic right now complaining about some idiotic ObamaCare rescue bill that was passed by the GOP Congress and signed by President Hillary Clinton ... with half of the CEOs from these stupid presidential councils standing around her at a Rose Garden ceremony.

I agree. This is going to leave a mark. If you are affiliated with any of those companies, get very quiet.

And we haven’t even made it through the summer yet.
