That one is easy — all the R’s voted for ObamaCare repeal except for three. Two defections were usual suspect RINOs who regularly vote with dems. The 3rd defection (McCain) was likely due to Trump personally pissing him off with his stupid statement during the primaries. Trump failed to cut a deal with the 3 RINOs and get them on board.
Great idea. How about he cuts taxes on small and medium size business and increase them on some of these Fortune 500 - that will cook their goose.
They are all rent seekers anyways. Screw them.
You know, many people’s jobs will be replaced by robots soon enough. These moguls want that.
If massive amounts of people are unemployed, who will be able to afford to buy their crap?..................
1.) The 3 “R’s” acted as cover for other “R’s” who were in states having primary elections in 2018.
2.) McCain would never support Trump - or any other individual who is non-establishment. McCain is a treasonous ass wipe, and those who are not deluded understand at least that much.
3.) Cutting a “deal” with the 3 RINOs? Really ... Like going pro-abortion, keeping PP funded, etc? Yeah, sure - betray both principle and the conservative portion of your base to “compromise” with the same people who are committed to back-stabbing you no matter what. Please - even you should know better than trying to feed me this crap sandwich!
Of course -— it was possible to cut a deal and get ObamaCare repeal passed. It takes someone who knows how to persuade and cut deals. It’s been done throughout the history of this country.

Good for him. That was nothing more than an organization for favor-gathering and rump-kissing.
Like I stated previous - the deal the 3 RINOs wanted was funding for Planned Parenthood. That’s a deal breaker. Your insistence otherwise is plainly obtuse ... Moreover, your Never-Trump slip is showing, just as much as it was obvious during the primaries. I’m not blind.

That’s what I see in my microcosm, here in the suburbs north of Philadelphia. In fact, the resolve is even stronger with the Trump people I know.
By definition, Trump supporters are independant thinkers, and they don’t like being constantly lied to and lied about by the RINOs and the MSM. On top of that, Trump has turned out to be the real deal for true conservatives. Trump has exceeded the expectations of even his staunchest supporters.
If anything, it’s the lefties that seem reluctant to bring up politics nowadays. They still hate Trump like good little lefties, but they seem almost ashamed of the gibberish that comes out of their own mouths. They can never back anything up so all you have to do is ask “like what?” and they shut up.
So, I think many democrats will not vote at all in future elections, Republicans will pick up seats in 2018 and Trump will easily get reelected in 2020. I’m not sure how much of his agenda he’ll get passed - there are so many Dems and RINOs out to get him and the MSM is nothing but a DNC propaganda ministry.
My big question has to do with this escalating war between Trump and the lying MSM. It seems like for Trump to win this war, the MSM needs to be destroyed in some tangible way. They can’t go on serving as the propaganda arm of the DNC and still continue to be trusted by the public to report “The News”. Something has to crack.
I know, polls show they are not trusted, but people still watch, people still read it because despite the Internet, the MSM is a monopoly. Even here on FR it is mostly recycled MSM stuff being discussed.
But is that even possible? Can Trump actually break the MSM monopoly, make them go away, or shame them into being honest and objective?
The last one got stopped by a guy who will probably die before he has to face the voters again...a guy who has always hated Trump ever since Trump questioned his "heroism".

To understand who they are, however, is key: they do NOT need “profits” to survive. They don’t need viewers to survive. They are supported, just as the papers in Andrew Jackson’s time were, by the Dem Party. 100%. It may be funneled in through other corporate kickbacks, but however it comes in, it’s not because people VIEWING them like their message or even like their advertisers.
So the goal is to take out the sugar daddies & corporations subsidizing them, to make them squeal so badly they must cut the “news” organizations loose. This can happen, but it will take a dedicated offensive to strategically destroy advertisers and bombard them with lawsuits until they just leave.
