WASHINGTON — Attorney General Jeff Sessions said on Monday that the “evil attack” in Charlottesville, Va., over the weekend meets the legal definition of an act of domestic terrorism, an early declaration in an investigation after a car plowed into a crowd of protesters.
“It does meet the definition of domestic terrorism in our statute,” Mr. Sessions said on ABC’s “Good Morning America,” referring to a fatal attack on Saturday when a vehicle drove into a crowd protesting white nationalists, killing one woman and injuring others. A 20-year-old man has been arrested and charged by Virginia authorities with second-degree murder, three counts of malicious wounding and failing to stop at the scene of a crash that resulted in a death.
“You can be sure we will charge and advance the investigation toward the most serious charges that can be brought because this is unequivocally an unacceptable evil attack,” Mr. Sessions said, adding that terrorism and civil rights investigators were working on the case.
Mr. Sessions appeared on several morning news shows on Monday, condemning the violent demonstrations over the removal of a Confederate monument and defending President Trump’s response.

A car can certainly be used as a weapon.Baseball bats and rocks can just as surely be used.A careful,and unbiased,review of all available photos and videos must be done.We know about the car.But what other potentially dangerous objects were being wielded...and by whom.A review of injured people must also be done.What injuries were sustained? Who inflicted them? What weapons were used to inflict them?
It’s starting to look like the attack in Charlottesville wasn’t an attack by the car driver but an attack ON the car driver. Also, here’s a report that “police were called off when violence started – they said, ‘We’re Leaving’”

“The mayor and governor. Go straight to the top. Civil Rights were banned by someone at the top! Antifa showed up & the cops did not stand between them & those that had a permit. Antifa chased the non violent protestors out. Keep calm & pay attention folks. This was a set up.”
Car attack and other aspects of this incident look like a false flag operation by left-wing activists, who are trying to hang the “white nationalist” sign on the Trump Administration. The Trump admin is wisely refusing to let the democrats hang that sign on them, and are speaking out strongly against the car attack and other violence. Trump people know that it was probably a false flag operation by left-wingers, but it will be very tough to get enough evidence to prove this in court. So, they’re doing the next best thing and running damage control tactics to remove the sign the left-wingers are trying to hang on them.
These nasty incidents last weekend should not do any long-term damage to Trump and his administration.

Don’t believe these Lying Leftist Media outlets that proved themselves during the 2016 campaign to be operatives of the DNC and intentional liars. They are presumed to be lying and we should presume what they publish is a lie. The presumption can only be rebutted with the outlet providing clear and convincing evidence they are not lying.
We should be mostly publishing the truth on FR, not the lies, and as much good news as possible to bolster morale. We should find and post reliable sources that have already deconstructed the lie and replaced it with the truth and with a headline that says the truth. We need much more of that on FR IMO. The key is the headline and the first few sentences because not everyone has time to drill down. The endless stream of negative, lying headlines sabotages our purpose IMO.

There’s really no reason for VA to be blue except vote fraud. If it can be agreed to by the left that this WAS terrorism, then found to be Soros terrorism with McC’s assistance, we can take VA back.
This is totally ridiculous. The Federal “terrorism” statues need to be eliminated. They serve no purpose. Assault, murder, possessing bombs etc. are already illegal. The only purpose of defining something that was already a serious crime as “terrorism” is to judge people guilty of the same crime differently based on their beliefs.
