Listen to his tires chirp at the beginning. That’s when he punched it, and that was several seconds before the guy hit his car.

If you watch the video you're referring to a little closer, you'll notice both during and for a second or two after the tires chirp that his brake lights were lit up.

Not sure why he would hit the brakes if at this point he had already made the decision to plow into this crowd.

Another curious observation of this video is in the audio. At this same point, you already start to hear blood curdling screams begin and a slamming sound of some kind, which all happens before the first protestor with a stick or bat hits the driver side taillight area.

I'm not trying to argue the guy is innocent of anything, but not everything seems to cleanly add up to this being premeditated either.

Unless the still shot below has been photo-shopped, the object appears to be a flag.

Reports are the driver was a fan of Adolph Hitler.

So, members of one side admired a mass murderer like Hitler, while large numbers of the other no doubt admired mass murderers like Mao tse Tung. ANTIFA is a combination anarchist - communist organization. The red and black symbol is the logo for Anarcho-syndicalism.

It's a natural question to ask since antifa are violent and have attacked people in cars on previous occasions. it would fit the pattern. It also would be consistent with the report by Lorenz who said the police in the station said he was scared, not malicious. I fully admit my bias: I'd like to see a video showing antifa thugs beating his car with clubs early in the timeline so we can put the blame squarely on them. But, as you can see from my several comments on this subject, I am also open to the inconvenient possibility that what he did was malicious. Overall there's enough uncertainty here that I think it would be unwise to jump to any firm conclusions, which frankly makes me wonder about your motivations.

Conservatives do not stand with the KKK or neo-Nazis. In any case, it's looking like a real possibility that this event's organizer, Jason Kessler, was a leftist plant. Reports indicate he supported both (communist) Obama and the hard left Occupy Wall Street movement. Besides that he was an "onsite reporter" for none other than CNN! I checked with the CNN website and it is indeed him.

He hit that car at a pretty good speed and had done all the damage he could do. He couldnt go any further and his only options were to stay ther or back up.

He very easily could have struck nearly every person on that road prior to approaching the cars that were blocked by that crowd which had armed antifa types within the crowd.

In addition, the vehicle was seen braking at least once about 70’ prior to the vehicle reaching the main group.

I can tell ya, in that vehicle I could have struck that group of people who were already blocking vehicles at about 70 mph., possibly faster. And those cars and people would have been pushed/blown clear to the opposite side of that intersection.

Most of the proteters were in front of and to the sides of the white car and minivan which were moving slowly and were not being attacked by the protesters. Why was Fields car the only vehicle attacked that day? What singled him out?

It wasn’t the only vehicle or individual attacked. There are probably 10k hours of video taken by thousands...Other vehicles and other people were pelted and assaulted all day.
