University of Virginia police dispersed a gathering of far-right protesters on the Charlottesville, Va. campus Friday night ahead of a planned demonstration by white nationalists, white supremacists and alt-right groups on Saturday.
Police arriving on the scene declared the protest on Friday an "unlawful assembly" and told demonstrators to disperse, video footage of the gathering shows.

This is the most Neo Nazis I've ever seen together publicly. There's actually hundreds of them. They must be gathered from all around the country.They were. The silver lining here is that this proves that the neo-nazis are a small movement. Of course, the MSM will cast them as "typical" of the right.

......I say I support any non violent protest in support of NOT obliterating Confederate history on many grounds but the biggest is “where does “obliterate” stop. WHO get’s to write the re-write?
My take on this is that what is going on is that “The Right”, after decades of being asleep, and trying to ignore “The Left” and just WORK and live their lives, is waking up.
My fear is that we are now where we were in the years leading up to the Civil War. These “demonstrations” are merely one gunshot (Concord) away from turning over whelmingly violent and there are not enough cops or army troops to stop it because thanks to Obama, Pelosi, Schumer, Reid, McCain, Graham, Haley, McConnell, MSM lead by CNN and many, many others there is a lot of hate out there on both sides and the pot is boiling.
Charlottesville is the home of the University of Virginia, which was founded by Thomas Jefferson. Many prominent Virginians have a special place in their hearts for this corner of the world.
A large part of the undergraduate student body comes from Northern Virginia, which is home to many federal government officials.
There are lots of very high placed people who have a strong interest in preventing unrest and possible property damage in this area.
Understandable, but when was the last time a group on "the right" rioted and looted?

The ACLU is allied with the White Nationalists. They took legal steps to make sure the march took place. Now the town has violated the ACLU’s order.

Exactly. This is what you get when you play up identity politics, nurture black lives matter and ignore ANTIFA radicals. I don’t particularly like the vitriol but it is inevitable that if you are going to continue attacking and denigrating “white males” and their culture, you will create this type of animosity and response. Keep discriminating against white males with diversity initiatives and brainwashing kids with intersectionality theory and you will only breed more of this. The Balkanization of our country is well at hand, thanks to the identity politics of the leftist dems. So much for the great melting pot.
What social/functional issues do you suffer from that cause you to act out in this manner. Is your behavior confined to the anonymity of the 'net, or are you treated as a circus freak in public?
There are already certain factions agitating against the memory of Jefferson, but that will be a very difficult thing to accomplish.
And I say that as someone who has mixed opinions about him.
