**SNIP**

However, the group and other supporters of Calexit believe such financial risk would be worth it, particularly given that California’s political leanings are so at odds with the current administration and that California sends more tax dollars to the federal government than any other state.

“We feel that California has been neglected and left out of the political process for many, many decades,” Gonzales told the Bee.

“With current politics the way they are, clearly there’s a recognition that many in the United States have disdain for Californians. They call us ‘out of control.’ So this is a time for us to take back those tax dollars and really unleash the potential California has,” he added.

California would replace US military bases with Chinese troops. The US will have the equivalent of the Gaza strip on its west coast.

Certainly, those who want to Calexit would have no problem selling their property. The California real estate market would tank, but the water situation would improve.

[Time for the government to close its military bases and installations]

Yes, Pendleton gets moved to the Nevada border and sets up a defensive position.

We’ll lose seaports though.

I wish they’d quit talking about it and just do it already. Starting to look like all hat and no cattle.

They already remind me of North Korea. This Calexit stuff is all talking and feet stomping for more federal money. If they really did this, it wouldn’t end well for them and it would take decades for them to recover.

Add a zero ‘to compensate for the pollution blowing from CA to the East’. Yes, 250%.

The c/exiters want their cake with the frosting, but they are unwilling to clean-up their plate.

The c/exiters have bitten off more than they can chew.

Put a tax on stock market redemptions for funds flowing back to the august investment institution, Cal-PERS.

“If California leaves the US many good conservatives in California will suffer even more than they do now.”

This will be good motivation for them to leave. They should have already!

We escaped 2 years ago, taking a big financial loss and having to start over, job-wise. But we saw the writing on the wall, and it was well worth it. I love living around good conservative folks.

California can pay the YS for all the federal land.

Oh wait they are broke. And I wouldn’t take an IOU from them.

Sorry I don’t get the connection between a southern border wall and Calexit/CA wall? We can have 2 walls.

There has to be a major organized effort in the other 49 to get this done. They are now using their own nut job environmental laws against their own nut job environmentalist governor, Jerry Brown. These people always eat their own and then stand around while someone else cleans up the mess.

You can’t trust a libtard to accomplish anything substantive beyond voting for a politician who promises to give them other people’s money. After that it’s bong hits and brownies for the next two years, until Pelosi’s bell ringers start waving Papa John’s gift cards under their noses.

“Central Cali is already a third world country.”

Amen to that. And the rest of what you said.

It’s why we escaped.

"This will be good motivation for them to leave. They should have already!"

Historically, California used to be a conservative region. Those out-state conservatives were there first. It's hard to ask them to leave their family lands.

That said, several of my friends have moved out of California and are happy they did.

I beat you out by 25 years. I felt the writing was on the wall then. Texas beckoned, Forth Worth not Austin.
