Calexit Group Says It’s Time for Californians to ‘Take Back Those Tax Dollars’ From the U.S.

**SNIP**

However, the group and other supporters of Calexit believe such financial risk would be worth it, particularly given that California’s political leanings are so at odds with the current administration and that California sends more tax dollars to the federal government than any other state.

“We feel that California has been neglected and left out of the political process for many, many decades,” Gonzales told the Bee.

“With current politics the way they are, clearly there’s a recognition that many in the United States have disdain for Californians. They call us ‘out of control.’ So this is a time for us to take back those tax dollars and really unleash the potential California has,” he added.

You are referring to South Carolina, which is a separate state from North Carolina. It looks like reading comprehension and geography are not big in California.

“You are referring to South Carolina”

Yeah, I should have enlarged the chart, my mistake, my eyesight isn’t as good as it used to be! So we’’re just trading one “southern $hit hole” for another, as North Carolina is a net taker as well, just not as much as their “neighbors to the south!” I guess NASCAR pays more taxes in NC, and that makes up the difference! That or NC sells more tobacco to try and kill the rest of us.

And it’s time for surrounding states to cut off California’s electrical and water sources. And it’s time for the Mexican army and drug cartels to cross the border and take back California for Mexico.

Congrats on your escape!

I wish everyone would (escape). We left Wa for northern Michigan almost 4 years ago and now live in redneck heaven. We brought a few fellow escapees from Turlock and Orange County with us to the midwest. Four legged former shelter residents.

It's good to be in a sane place.

You either believe Californians have a right to institute a government pursuant to their happiness, or you oppose the Declaration of Independence's 'self-evident truths'.

Agreed!

Which is exactly why I hope it can come true for them, and soon!

If they really did this, it wouldn’t end well for them and it would take decades for them to recover.

Yes. So support them wholeheartedly as I do.

If California leaves the US many good conservatives in California will suffer even more than they do now.

They can simply move. Come on over.

Cottonball and I made it out of la la land. The view is much better out here.

ROFL. La la landers are more about pot smoking and hippie dress than education.

Oh, that is wonderful that you brought your four-legged friends with you. I was feeding some stray colonies back in Bakersfield, and I felt so bad leaving them. The illegals there are just horribly cruel to animals.

I really wish I had brought Videos of a morning trip to Walmart with me here. When I try to explain how bad it is people just don’t believe me. I don’t think they want to believe it could become that way here if they allow an invasion. but on a good note, they dislike liberals intensely. In fact when I first moved here I was asked many times what church I went to and how did I vote. Unashamedly asked. And when I answered right I got lots of hugs and welcomed.

Escaping is definitely possible. When we told friends and coworkers what we were doing, almost all of them said they planned on leaving as soon as they retired. I just hope they get to that point. We thought about waiting that long but it would’ve been another decade. And we would’ve been older and less capable of fixing up the house and the farm and getting started being somewhat self-sufficient. And you have never know what kind of illnesses and disabilities will make things more difficult.

Now financially, we took a big loss. Sold our house at a loss. Have you gave up a very high pain job. We moved to a somewhat backwards area, knowing full well the high-paying jobs wouldn’t be here. But that keeps prices low and illegals and liberals out. So all in all we figured it was a good thing.

A cute example is a proposed will text. People here are complaining because the county is thinking of been posing one. Guess what our car registration is? $25 a year. Flat. The brand new Prius and Harley have the same registration as the 10-year-old Prius and 15-year-old Dodge truck. (We are not environmental Nazis, we just enjoy the good gas mileage and got good deals on both hybrids.). Anyway I find it heartwarming that people are complaining and picketing and going to Townhall meetings because they don’t want to pay $50 registration :-) most of our registrations were well over $300 in the socialist state of Mexifornia! The truck was close to $600 and it is an old piece of junk! ( don’t tell hubby I said that… )

You’re actually against California leaving? That’s like being against losing a migraine. And there’s a few other pains we could do without - Portland, Seattle, NYC..

We sold one home at a slight loss and are still renting the other out, but paid cash for a great place that we love every day here. Rural. Low paying jobs, and extremely low cost of living.

I Know what you mean about some things being so incredibly inexpensive that it is almost funny.

Considering burning bridges while staring down a Richter-9.2 barrel; which, will make everything west of I-5 a lost cause? You have hubris now; yet, should all the left coast fall down or drown, will then pass a hat to the remaining 47?

It’s not an if, but a matter of when. It’s likely to be the worst natural disaster in world history, barring a large sky rock falling into the ocean. Look on the bright side though—what’s left of the population will be given a head start in rebuilding the west coast, just under better management.

Awesome!

Take back those 55 electoral votes, without which the Democrats would never again win the presidency. Also they would lose 2 US senators and 53 US Representatives, 70% of whom are Democrats.

The Democrats would never win the Presidency or hold the House ever again.

What about the military bases? Will the military withdraw to Oregon and Washington? Who will pay for all that prime real estate?

It would be financially impossible to move Vandenberg AFB. Replicating the infrastructure at another location would be too expensive to even contemplate.

We would have to put our foot down and tell them VAFB was US soil and they can pound sand. Probably have to turn it into another Gitmo.

Upon Calexit, the US crime statistics improve and the number of illegal aliens decreases by about a third.

Haaa.. Boxer brought back 80% of the federal tax dollars California sent in,, DiFi maybe 85% (after her and her hubby’s cut),, what will Kamala bring back? much less a CalExit (one of the stupidest ideas since climate change and sea levels are rising dramatically)
