Justice Dept. to Take On Affirmative Action in College Admissions
WASHINGTON — The Trump administration is preparing to redirect resources of the Justice Department’s civil rights division toward investigating and suing universities over affirmative action admissions policies deemed to discriminate against white applicants, according to a document obtained by The New York Times.
The document, an internal announcement to the civil rights division, seeks current lawyers interested in working for a new project on “investigations and possible litigation related to intentional race-based discrimination in college and university admissions.”

True story:
About 20 years ago, when my first born was navigating the maze of college admissions, a friend’s daughter was also applying. Both kids had about equal qualifications.
When she filled out her applications, she checked the box *Native American*; her mom told me in the week that followed their mailbox was overflowing with offers for full-ride scholarships. Of course, each offer had to be declined, with an appropriate apology letter.
So much for college admissions wanting to fill their quotas.
Lesson learned.
This story has made it into the mainstream media cycle and will be all the talk tomorrow. The lib/commies will of course cry racism, right on cue.
