The culture war has been going on a long time, and it won't end any time soon. But the outcome is not in doubt. Some conservatives were gratified to see President Donald Trump bar transgender people from the military. The backlash suggests it will be much like the Native Americans' victory at Little Bighorn -- memorable but ultimately irrelevant.
White House officials saw this announcement as a brilliant political move. "This forces Democrats in Rust Belt states like Ohio, Michigan and Wisconsin to take complete ownership of this issue," an anonymous administration official gloated to Axios.

The culture war must be fought. It is the most important war. It has been on a downward slope in America for more than a century.
This has always happened down through history. Cultures form around standards of morality which necessitates honoring God because He is the source of righteousness. Then people stray, especially over generations when people derive the benefits and blessings of their fore-parents’ righteousness. Then small groups exit from the corrupt society, the corrupt society implodes or is otherwise destroyed, and God raises up a new society from these small groups who honor Him.
But will Steve Chapman write how we are on the wrong side of history when there are open human sacrifices to pagan deities? Will he say the same when people are imprisoned and murdered for being Christian? Will he remain obstinate when his children are molested and raped because this is inevitable?
Perhaps Steve Chapman is himself among our enemies in the culture war.
The culture war MUST be fought.

As another FReeper suggested, just end the practice of the Military paying for any Elective Surgery including Gender Reassignment and Hormones for the Mental Cases.

Just eliminate ALL Elective Surgery and nobody can complain about the Military not paying for Gender Reassignment Surgery which is currently allowing Trannies to join up and bill the Taxpayers for their Surgery and Hormone Regimen.
The Surgery is not necessary to save a Life, therefore it is Elective. Of course Liberals will say it is not Elective Surgery because it supposedly cures a psychiatric issue.
That way they can’t call President Trump “transphobic”.
He is merely saving the Military Millions of Dollars in unnecessary expenses.
It doesn’t matter if there aren’t any other Elective Surgeries that the Military currently pays for.
Caveat. To answer your question, I was not in the Military so I have no idea if they (meaning the Taxpayers) are currently paying for any Elective Surgeries outside of Gender Reassignment Procedures.
Someone who needs regular doses of medication does not belong as a soldier. Plenty of people are banned from the military for medication dependency issues. It’s the rule, but I think, given how even Trump barely one, the regular people in America are insane enough to drive the nation off a cliff.
Steve is the type of guy that was supporting Carter over Reagan as a youth. He won’t be mistaken for Bill Buckley even though he writes for National Review. Much more a David Brooks type.
