House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) on Wednesday slammed President Trump’s call to ban all transgender individuals from serving in the U.S. military and vowed to fight the president’s proposal.
“69 years ago, President Truman desegregated the US Military. This morning, @POTUS turned anti-#trans prejudice into policy,” Pelosi wrote on Twitter. “.@realDonaldTrump’s decision to ban transgender Americans from the military is a vile attack on brave individuals defending our country.”
Pelosi said it is “disgusting” to see members of the LGBT community “devalued for a hateful political agenda.”

What is with this “pride” thing? Are they proud to be mentally ill? Are they proud to participate in various perversions? Are they proud to be freaks of nature?
I didn’t see anything in Trump’s statement that says transgenders that are already serving and physically able to serve would be dismissed.
I know NO parents Proud of their “queer” children, but I don’t attend any churches where they worship Satan either.

That’s the problem, politicians think they are the only ones that can make informed decisions. I would guess the military leaders are informed. I’m not informed, but I am capable of logical thought process, and I see an expensive medical bill for the military for transgender treatments that could be spent on actual mental and physical injuries caused by active duty. I can also see that people undergoing these medical transitions would not be 100% fit for duty. There is nothing discriminatory about that.
I suppose it was inevitable that convicted traitor and spy Bradley Manning would chip in from his own private fantasyland. What would the Army do without him? Aside from its mission, that is...

McCain relies on the generalizations used by the left “there is no reason”. There are many reasons. McCain may not like them, but they are valid and critical to the operational readiness and combat effectiveness of the U.S. military. There should not be any women, homosexuals, or “gender confused” individuals in combat roles in the military. It damages morale, results in a waste of resources, and results in fraternization and the inevitable allegations when the fraternization is no longer welcome. Mattis’ letter indicates that his thinking is on the same track as Trump’s, so it’s curious why Trump didn’t allow Mattis to finish his review of this policy before sticking out his own neck.
