U.S. Sen. John McCain revealed Wednesday evening that he has a brain tumor.
The announcement follows a procedure to remove a blood clot from above his left eye at the Mayo Clinic Hospital in Phoenix last Friday, where a pathology report revealed the glioblastoma, a malignant brain tumor.
Treatment options may include a combination of chemotherapy and radiation.

The Mayo Clinic said this type of cancer is rare with less than 200,000 cases diagnosed each year.
Prayers that he has faith in Christ before the end.
BUT IT’S TIME FOR SONGBIRD TO GTFO OF THE SENATE.
Best of luck, Mr. McCain. Regardless our differences, I wish you well.
Praying for his recovery. Praying also that Lindsey Graham has a black dress ready since he is about to be a widow.

Only because he doesn’t have Obamacare.
He needs to retire immediately so he can spend as much time as he has left with his loving family, for the sake of everyone.
“Glioblastoma can be difficult to treat because the tumors contain so many different types of cells, the association says. This type of cancer cannot be cured.”
One of my high school classmates was diagnosed with this type of cancer last September. He died last Friday. McCain is dead man walking. AZ procedure for replacing him is that the governor appoints a replacement, but he has to be from the departing Senator’s party.
After the last few months of bizarre behavior nobody should be surprised.
Just had an uncle die from the disease. Its a horrible death. Praying that he dies quickly with pain management. Any prayers for length of life is cruel.
Yup. There's no way for anyone undergoing treatment for this disease to competently carry out the duties of that office.
My 78 year old dad diagnosed with same type of malignant brain tumor in early December 2012. Walked into hospital New Year’s Eve, 12/31/2012. Never walked again. Died April 3, 2013. Sad.
Sometimes history has a way of repeating itself, doesn't it?
Well, bye.
We already knew he was a malignant tumor.
Oh, the irony.
This can strike at any age. My young relative was treated for a brain tumor five years ago and is doing well, praise the Lord.
No I am not going to pretend like I am concerned for him and that I am going to pray for him, because I’m not.
‘Nuff said.
Fixed it
Sen. John McCain diagnosed with malignant brain
I’m betting McCain resigns IF, AND ONLY IF, the Arizona governor agrees to name his daughter, Meghan McCain, as his replacement.
