His survival rate is around 10% surviving cancer in the brain as I have been told by reliable sources that have worked on cancer patients.

I think in this case it will be less. The craniotomy was to release pressure in the skull. It sounds like the glioblastoma already had spread from the primary tumor. I think the Senator was beyond stage 2 at this point. The 10% may be if they find the primary tumor (mostly by accident) in the primary stages.

I despise his politics, but he does not deserve this. Few do, outside of maybe Hitler, Stalin, or Mao.

Beating the cancer is the best possible outcome, but it is a particularly aggressive type. Fight, McCain - you have a real enemy here.

Who was the congressman who was defeated and went back to arizona and worked as a talk show host. He later ran in the primaries against mcCain and was defeated. He was a tremendous conservative. Can’t recall his name.

J.D. Hayworth. Great guy. He'd be a great choice but I'm not sure McCain would approve (and I don't doubt he'll have a say) of the torch being passed to J.D.

I have been disgusted by John McCain as a politician for years as being the quintessential RINO, but, having watch my mother-in-law die horribly by this cancer, and being an observer and active supporter in my father’s 8 year up and down struggle with cancer, I do not wish this upon anyone...

I do salute John McCain for his service, combat and captivity in memory of my father who served 4 years in the USAF and 27 years in the ANG as a pilot, retiring as a full bird, as well as in memory of my grandfather who flew Catalinas in the Pacific as a Captain in the Army Air Corp from 1942 until 1945...my father taught me the concept that you can respectfully disagree with another without being disrespectful...
