“Lab results are still pending.”
I have to call BS on that, surgeons get updated about the cells in the margins during cancer surgery in a matter of minutes. They all know exactly what McCains issues are but are not saying for political reasons.

My brother had a inner ear tumor, they would cut away, get get lab results and continue the process. They know results in minutes.

I think you are right. They want to be as certain as possible to excise all the tumor.

Yep. And for these same political reasons good news would have been reported immediately. So by telling us nothing they've actually told us all we need to know.

I will second that after many cancer surgeries.

The only reasons not to say for political reasons are the same reasons why our ever so curious MSM was curiously incurious in the case of the late Teddy Kennedy’s terminal glioblastoma.

Perhaps John McCain may never return to the well of the Senate, and that sort of puts the kibosh on any action on the Senate version of health care reform for now.

It is one thing to hold a seat open for Gabby Giffords in the House of Representatives, but that was not a critical thing in relation to the passage of one version of legislation over another.

Agreed. It’s called, ‘The Mohs Procedure’ and both my Dad and M-I-L have had it done for various skin cancers.

Maybe he has a brain tumor. That might explain a lot.

Those are frozen sections, and they are a bit less reliable than standard histology. Also, if you are going to look for specific markers, that require using antibodies, it takes awhile. That said, this sounds like just a localized subdural hematoma, possibly caused by hitting his head at some point that he doesn't remember.
