(Currently Breaking News On NBC)
WASHINGTON The Russian lawyer who met with the Trump team after a promise of compromising material on Hillary Clinton was accompanied by a Russian-American lobbyist a former Soviet counter intelligence officer who is suspected by some U.S. officials of having ongoing ties to Russian intelligence, NBC News has learned.
NBC News is not naming the lobbyist, who denies any current ties to Russian spy agencies. He accompanied the lawyer, Natalia Veselnitskaya, to the June 2016 meeting at Trump Tower attended by Donald Trump Jr., Jared Kushner and Paul Manafort.
The Russian-born American lobbyist served in the Soviet military and emigrated to the U.S., where he holds dual citizenship.
Veselnitskaya acknowledged to NBC News that she was accompanied by at least one other man, though she declined to identify him.
The presence at the meeting of a Russian-American with suspected intelligence ties is likely to be of interest to special counsel Robert Mueller and the House and Senate panels investigating the Russian election interference campaign.
Contacted by NBC News, representatives for Kushner and Manafort declined to comment. A lawyer for Trump Jr. did not respond to multiple requests for comment.
Veselnitskaya, in an exclusive interview with NBC News, denied having any connection to the Kremlin and insisted the meeting was to discuss sanctions, not the presidential campaign.

Notice the revised form listing all the foreign contacts didnt happen until after kushner hired a well known and highly rated lawyer...then suddenly the legal team found the emails..etc.
Or maybe kushner just never gave gorelick access before then...ahem
Kushner needs to go.
It says in the article this guy was allowed to emigrate to the us. He is a Russian immigrant. If he’s so bad who allowwd that?
It’s been said in many places this Natalia speaks zero English.
He was probably there to translate.
I wonder if he has a green card and is working toward citizenship.
R.A. (auto correct problem)..claiming to A.p. that jr asked lawyer for info on illicit funds to dnc
R.A. talking now..Interesting he waited until outed
R.a. saying they couldn’t wait for the meeting to end..I guess means jr. Says lawyer brought docs..not seeing what kind
Donald Trump Jr. earlier this week said he had now disclosed everything to do with the June 2016 meeting. White House counselor Kellyanne Conway on Friday struggled to explain why new information, including elements of the meeting, continue to trickle out from the media.
Axios has Interesting story on R.A.
Has had many dealings with him and says he was open about being part of GRU.
Leaked many docs to him
My understanding, which may be in error, was he was there.
CNN reporting under BREAKING NEWS that Don Jr has admitted to watching “Dr. Zhivago” when he was in the 11th grade. All 10 members of “the panel” agree this is the smoking gun that we all knew was out there, stay tuned.
Goldstone checked in to Trump Tower on Facebook that afternoon.
It’s part of the DNC paid smear campaign
McCain dossier - Fusion GPS
DNC e-mail hack - unsubstantiated claim made by Democrat backed Crowdstrike, later largely retracted
Michael Cohen - Fusion GPS
DTjr setup - Fusion GPS
The DNC’s claims that their e-mail systems were hacked, that their oppo research was stolen, that Russians did it, and that it was to help Trump are nonsensical. Stipulating that their systems were breached, by Russia, that only the oppo research was copied - how would that help Trump? It would be of minimal value to Trump. Trump already knows his vulnerabilities and would have a response plan in place. What value would copying DNC oppo research have? If their systems were breached by Russia to benefit Trump it would make more sense to either delete the info or at least corrupt the oppo research with false, easily refuted info which if used would make the Democrats look foolish. The only value in copying the oppo research would be in knowing what they know about you, but a competent campaign would already have contingency plans for any vulnerabilities. It would be far more valuable to know about them, get the dope on them. Yet DNC plans were not copied. Their claim, unsubstantiated as is it, doesn’t make sense on its face. When viewed in the context of an ongoing character assassination campaign however, it makes much more sense. The nature of the evidence is irrelevant, it’s the seriousness of the charge that matters. - Tom Foley (D)
Remember Michael Cohen, Trump’s personal lawyer? Fusion claimed Cohen traveled to Prague to attend a clandestine meeting with Russian agents. Cohen produced his passport showing he had never been to Prague.
All of these smears have as their common factor the implication that there is some hidden nefarious connection between Trump and Russia. This fixation on Russia begins with crazy Alexandra Chalupa. You don’t think she’s crazy? In January 2016 Chalupa told a senior DNC official that when it came to Trumps campaign, I felt there was a Russia connection. That feeling set in motion the Russia Narrative. Her first victim was Paul Manafort. She began attacking Manafort before he even joined the Trump campaign because she “had a feeling” that Manafort was going to join the campaign. She charged that since Manafort consulted for Victor Yanukovych, a candidate for Ukrainian president whom she believes is “Putin’s puppet”, that Manafort was connected with Russia. Yet she says not one word about Tad Devine. Devine also consulted for Victor Yanukovych, so why is he exempt from her ire? Devine also consulted for Bernie Sanders 2016 campaign. Sanders would be disposed of by the machinations of DNC head Debbie Wasserman Shultz so Chalupa need pay no attention to Devine. Chalupa is a first generation American, a self-described Ukrainian-American, and a Ukrainian nationalist. She worked with the Ukrainian embassy in Washington, DC to direct reporters regarding Trump, Manafort and Russia “to point them in the right directions”. Her and her family have been prime movers behind the Russia Narrative. After disposing of Manafort they moved on to generate events and media campaigns all with the common theme of “Trump’s hidden connections to Russia”. They helped push the the “piss-gate dossier”, they generated large Twitter campaigns, they promoted claims that elections results were altered by Russia (https://twitter.com/andreachalupa/status/796927739378991104?lang=en). Chalupa is tightly connected with Clinton and the DNC, as well as with Ukrainian nationalist zealots. She is the Ukrainian tail that wagged the US dog.
This is all a waste of time, and the real investigation should be into obama, Jarrett, Clinton, Rice
Another #Faenews smear on an individual. The problem for the purveyors of #Fakenews is that the individual in question was working for....FUsion GPS. You know, the democrat funded political operation that was the entity that funded the creation of the “dossier”, as well as worked with the Russian lawyer who met with Don Jr.
Yet there’s more which further corroborates collusion between the Obama administration and the DNC and HRC campaign to SPY on a political opponent’s presidential campaign.

Having done TSecret paperwork in the past, it’s amazing how many people spend months trying to figure out addresses where they’ve lived during their lives, forget places they’ve worked, and can’t remember banks, loans, etc.
Also interesting how many interpret some info to be inconsequential so don’t mention it.
