Last week, more Americans tuned in to watch re-runs of Yogi Bear, Full House, and Friends on Nick At Nite than to watch Anderson Cooper and Don Lemons shows on CNN.
According to cable ratings from the week of June 26-July 2, CNNs viewership of its primetime shows was ranked significantly lower than its competitors like Fox News and MSNBC, which place first and second respectively. Clocking in at No. 10 on the list, CNN fell behind HGTV, Nick At Nite, History Channel, and ESPN the sports network thats been hemorrhaging viewers for months.
CNNs ratings nosedive corresponds with the networks ongoing feud with President Donald Trump. Last week, Trump tweeted out a GIF of himself appearing to pummel a wrestler with CNNs logo superimposed over the latters face. The network has covered the tweet nearly nonstop ever since. It also went after the Redditor who made the GIF and threatened to dox him unless he apologized and promised to never say anything CNN dislikes again a move that drew much criticism and may have been illegal.
On July 4, CNN published a fake quote from Abraham Lincoln. On Thursday morning, the network falsely claimed German Prime Minister Angela Merkel had chosen the location of the G20 summit to sabotage Trump.

It is fun watching to see what their next idiotic act of desperation will be. It’s like the mother of all reality shows.
They still beat the Hallmark channel !!
Hahahahahahahaha
Are you sure that’s not fake news?
CNN should dig around in the basement to see if they can come up with some old puff n stuff cartoons
I ask — I beg — my fellow Freepers not to post links to CNN or to tune in to the network, even if just to spy on the enemy, because every time you go to the CNN website or watch the network on TV you are contributing to CNN’s bottom line. Indeed, anything you do to contribute to CNN’s ratings is like giving aid and comfort to an enemy on the run. Cut off CNN’s supply lines and it will become more and more desperate, crazy, and fake, as it starves to death
Some years ago - never mind how long precisely - having little or no money in my purse,
and nothing particular to interest me on shore,
I thought I would sail about a little and see the watery part of the world.
How does that work?
I still have the same amount of money in my pocket.

Every time a page of the CNN website is viewed, their advertisers are charged.
Your cable company tracks channel viewing, and watching a channel moves it up in viewership ratings, and hence they can charge more to their advertisers.
You forgot the sarcasm tag (I hope). In the event you are series, every time you tune into CNN, whether on the web or cable TV, you are contributing to its advertizing revenue because the more people who tune in, the higher the ad value.
Hogan’s Heros is broadcast over the air on MeTV. But MeTV and similar networks cycle through each rerun series pretty quickly, the schedule is “fluid.”
LOL. Could be that Zucker is Trump’s secret weapon! Maybe transition him to print media, WaPo.
If you get broadcast digital teevee, you can probably get H&I. It’s a side channel for ABC affiliated digital broadcast, at least that’s the correlation in my neck of the woods.
