But Sweden called for enforcement of sanctions. And remarked that some countries (China, unsaid) were not complying.

That’s pretty good for Sweden.

I’m surprised France actually addressed those areas and didn’t spew out something like:

“yet again the security council is meeting following a grave and unjustifiable threat to the environment...”

“Nk continues its reckless behavior by ignoring climate change”

“France condemns the polluting elements of this missile launch”

“Everyone around this table is under threat. Climate change is a global threat.”

Russia - some anti-US stuff - they are against our military presence in the region.

I am confused, they are against sanctions I believe?

Trump has got to cut a deal to get China and Russia to help on NK. Otherwise I don’t see much happening wrt NK. Trump has too many other fish to fry.

Anti-sanction statement too.
Russia sounds like a client state of China. No pride.

Did you read that from Mother Jones??

Did you know that in 1960, a brand new home was a fraction the size they are today with far fewer amenities. Today’s Americans think they need 5 bedrooms, rec rooms, island bars, stainless steel fridges, spa showers, and 2 car garages. Today’s Americans also usually have several credit cards, several smartphones/tablets/computers, and several cars and trucks. Not to mention all the myriad other gadgets and conveniences. It’s really hard to overspend on one income.

You may be ready to give up on the greatest economic system ever devised, but I’m not.
