Did you read that from Mother Jones??
Did you know that in 1960, a brand new home was a fraction the size they are today with far fewer amenities. Today’s Americans think they need 5 bedrooms, rec rooms, island bars, stainless steel fridges, spa showers, and 2 car garages. Today’s Americans also usually have several credit cards, several smartphones/tablets/computers, and several cars and trucks. Not to mention all the myriad other gadgets and conveniences. It’s really hard to overspend on one income.
You may be ready to give up on the greatest economic system ever devised, but I’m not.
Are you kidding me?
Ya thinks that's a reasonable trade off having mom going to work full time for 30 freaking years while having others raise their children?
Get real.
Island bars and credit cards?...Btw, ya sound like you work for the Pollyanna’s over at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. Wow...
