Soviet leader Josef Stalin has been named the most outstanding person in history in a Russian poll despite executing more than a million people in political purges.

The survey by the Levada Center in Moscow released Monday showed 38 percent of those two took part chose Stalin.

Really? The Red Army had 5 times as many men under arms than we did. Their T34 tanks were vastly superior to our Shermans. The American people wouldn’t have tolerated it at the time.

After the evil Stalin purged the Red Army it put up such a horrible performance in the Russo-Finnish War that Hitler decided that he could attack Russia and win. Stalin set up his own near demise. Unfortunately most of the world had to suffer as a consequence.

The same Josef Stalin who locked himself away in his room and hid under his sofa (he always slept on a divan) during the first week following the Nazi invasion in 1941? Hmmmm, some great leader.

According to Solzhenitsyn, the very people who he sentenced to the Gulag “loved” him and stuck up for him.

Crazy. It is no wonder that one cannot think of Stalin when reading Orwell’s “1984”. In the end for them, they only have love for “Big Brother”.

I spent part of an evening talking to a woman from the Ukraine, I’m assuming of Russian extraction, and she too stated she would like to see Stalin back because he was such a strong figure. She was educated, and knew his history, but she was disturbed by the chaos and loss of culture since the end of the Soviet Union.

Not crazy! After the Iranian Revolution the Iranians were immediately at war with Iraq, US influence -probably, whatever. Beside the point, it was good for the Iranians, the Iranians immediately marched the revolutionary zeolots to the front line, had them clear the mine fields on foot.

No more revelation, no more disgruntle revolutionaries...time for Imams to feather our nest!

Feed the revolutionaries to the guns!

"he greatly helped the Russians resist German aggression and occupation in World War II."

Even we bloodthirsty Germans were apalled by the savage killing field of Katyn!

“bloodthirsty Germans”

Nothing anything I said. I know a member of the Hitler youth, he’s very old and a wealth spring of information, he’s writing a memoir. I have no animus. If there’s no denial.
