New York Magazine Writer Blames 'Weather Gods' for Ossoff Defeat

The Democrats just blew $30 million on the most expensive congressional race in history and all they have to show for it is a lousy participation trophy.
Perhaps the Democrats would have been better off using that money to erect a temple to the Weather Gods. A frustrated Eric Levitz at New York magazine makes the case that the "Weather Gods" seemed to have been conspiring against Jon Ossoff in the June 20 special election in the Sixth Congressional District in Georgia. Fifty minutes before the polls closed for that election, Levitz noted how perfectly the weather aligned against Ossoff by observing that "Karen Handel Gets Last-Minute Endorsement From Weather Gods":

What an odd storm it was!! Over the houses of Democratic voters, the skies burst forward in such a horrific torrent that they couldn't even leave their homes. Over the houses of Republicans, the skies honored them with a beautiful, sunny day that just screamed at them "go vote".
Silly me. I thought running someone who didn't even live in the district, with campaigning from Hollywood elites, turned off voters.
The Republicans are awful, the way they spit in the faces of their voting fodder. But go figure. They're saved by the dems who are even worse.

There is some truth to what they say, as Rush even brought out yesterday - inclement weather suppresses votes, particularly Democrat votes.
Dems despise having to be put out by the slightest inconvenience when it comes to voting. It's why they can't bother to get ID's for voting. I'd be surprised if some Democrap group doesn't sue God for "voter rights violations."
