Handel had to face a well-financed opponent, the enemedia, the Deep State, Hollywood, radicalized younger voters and her district's determined Demoncrat party....but she picked her way through this minefield deftly, calmly and with considerable political acumen.
I am of the definite opinion that she will be a Trump supporter in his major initiatives.....and, as an aside, I think she got a strong message from the wild applause emanating from her supporters in the audience when she mentioned Trump's name.
She's up for election again next year....and I have no fears of her turning into a RINO.

Georgia law says it has to be within 1% to trigger a recount, unless there are specific improprieties alleged (then recount decision is up to the Georgia Secretary of State, it appears):

The Democrat Party died politically last evening in the Georgia, Sixth Congressional District “special house seat election”!!! The upcoming Mid Term elections will be devastating in further eroding this once great American political party!!!
Unless change occurs within the Democrats, immediately, they self-destruct themselves. The reform is obvious...the full development of a centrist political party across the board!!! End of story!!!
