If youre white, youre probably racist, an editor for the University of Alabamas student newspaper told her classmates in a recent op-ed.
Writing last week for The Crimson White, Opinions Editor Marissa Cornelius begins by listing various internalized racist beliefs she considers common to white students, such as being scared of the Walmart on Skyland Boulevard or being surprised that a black classmate is articulate.

Me either. I suppose that makes us both REALLY racist.
When <deragtory designation> is "racist" it means the speaker is not just a racist, but an idiot with no sense of irony.
If you are Muslim you are probably a terrorist.
If you are Jewish you are probably a doctor or a lawyer.
If you are Italian you are probably in the mafia.
Need I go on illustrating stupidity.
I am relieved to know that black people can’t be racist..haha
Sounds like she was cut from the varsity football team and is really -issed at Coach Sabin!
If you’re a student, you’re probably completely clueless about everything that’s real.
(At least these days).
After seeing photo changed my mind.
Mud-puppy?
If youre white, youre probably racist,
Totally the reverse. And take out the probably.
so can we assume project from there that if you’re Muslim, you’re a terrorist, hispanic, you’re an illegal alien, black, a gangbanger, Italian, mafioso, Irish, drunk, etc?
Okay. I’m wrong. Rednecks DON’T have a velvet Elvis painting.
And Orientaks DON’T drive slow. There are lots of other examples where I’m wrong.
My reply to that would be FU, and STFU.
If I’m probably racist I want to ask, “Do you believe there is anything I can do to change that?”
I think they have argued themselves into a corner where if I am white I must be racist and it sure does seem natural to agree with them that I must be racist and reply “If I must be racist why do you find it remarkable that I am and why do you holler at me for being what I must be?”

I was recently in the Walmart in Broward County Florida at night. The place was crowded and I was one of the few palefaces in there. I got a few looks but as usual people tend to let me be, even in little Mogadishu. I’ll admit it felt a little weird being in such a minority.
Whatsamatter, Marrisa, sweetums, bad weave day? There I go internalizing again, DOH!!
There they go again - confusing racism and realism.
