Chaffetz is checked out.
With less than two weeks left before his early exit from Congress, Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R-Utah) trashed President Trump and U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions in a no-holds-barred interview.
Chaffetz an ardent Obama critic who withdrew his Trump endorsement weeks before the 2016 election said he thinks the new administration is already doing a worse job with transparency and helping congressional investigations.
The reality is, sadly, I don't see much difference between the Trump administration and the Obama administration, Chaffetz told the Sinclair Broadcast Group on Sunday.
I thought there would be this, these floodgates would open up with all the documents we wanted from the Department of State, the Department of Justice, the Pentagon. In many ways, it's almost worse because we're getting nothing, and that's terribly frustrating.

Well, given a choice of McMuffin or Hatch, then Hatch is the lesser evil.
EXACTLY!!!
Regardless of what one might think of Chaffetz one realistically has to share the frustration he expresses. And, it’s a fact that John Koskinen is still the IRS Commissioner. One certainly can’t pin that on Chaffetz.
There's a scandal about to burst like a big fat pimple.
What a jerk
Everything positive Trump has done so far would have also been done by any of the real Conservatives that were also running. This idea that only Trump could be elected and only Trump could accomplish anything is what is truly delusional.
I’m still waiting for Trump to work for repealing Obamacare.
Chaffetz looks like the bi-product of generational bigamy.
President DJT rendered the “real Conservatives” he ran against into a quivering mass of special interest jello. Career politicians are unfit to shine his shoes.
Lots of talk and media posturing, but doggone little, if any, in your legislative role.
My bet is jason will end up as a political commentator on MSMBC or CNN
Everyone is trashing Chaffetz because they’re assuming he meant all the Trump accomplishments. I read the interview and he was specifically talking about The State Dept, Attorney Generals Office, and the IRS. It sounded like his frustration is that they put new people in leadership positions but nothing’s changed within the organizations themselves. I happen to agree with him.
gotta agree
jackass fits
Principles and character are important, personalities less so.
The war between RINO Trumpism and Conservatism isn’t over.
It’s been going on since WW II and Trump is just the latest version of Wilkie, Dewey, Eisenhower, Nixon, Rockefeller, Ford, Dole, McCain and Romney. They were all either weak candidates or weak presidents. The Reagan and Goldwater types don’t come along often but I will continue to support them when they do.
Maybe you mean Deplorable?
I’m starting to think of you as delusional....
Sadly, if you can’t tell the difference between an Obama (or Hillary) Supreme Court selection and Gorsuch, you’re probably a complete GOP Inc Company Guy.
The problem you have is that Cruz was unelectable. All of you #nevertrumpers are as bad as the democrats who refuse to accept the election.
Trump won states that the others would not have had a prayer of winning.
Get real!! Trump is more conservative in his PRESIDENTIAL-NESS than anyone since Reagan!
Maybe a homosexual “marriage” is in the works between Chaffetz and McMullin.
Two peas in the same Mormon pod, bashing President Trump and acting like aholes. A match made in Hell.
