In the UK, a ‘white van’ is stereotypically associated with a self-employed blue-collar worker with right-wing political views. A ‘white van driver’ refers to this sort of person, probably after he stopped at his local for a few too many.

Yes, it might be wishful thinking. I’m just hoping this isn’t the start of apartment blocks collapsing, crowded mosques erupting in conflagration, and whole neighborhoods getting pushed into the sea.
Maybe they’ll just self-deport after this event.
The Daily Mail said he was a clean-shaven white guy. So they’re making it look like it wasn’t a muzzie that did it, which means they’ll have no trouble deciding what his motive was.

It’s too early to know for sure, but it sounds to me like the Brits have finally started to fight back. It won’t be to the extent that a game of Cowboys and Muslims would be, but it’s a start. Eventually, there was going to be pushback in some form.
From watching Sky News, it seems most likely that it was retaliation against Islamists. A large crowd of observant Muslims was leaving a radical mosque and were targeted. Not really surprising that someone might get tanked up and decide to strike back given what’s been happening.
Indeed , it could lead to alco-caucasian-phobia which as any reporter worth his pay knows is much worse than bodies being smashed by out of control cars!

The UK is turning into late 60’s northern Ireland real quick.
If the US joins in, this could be one very interesting summer.
If, in the US, it’s not against the Muslims it will be dem-on-con violence, and we’ll have an entire world at war.

Given the mosque’s history, I just assumed it was some type of anti-muslim attack, though could be muslim on muslim crime.
