Rep. Ted Lieu: If Trump fired Rosenstein and Mueller, "I believe Congress would begin impeachment proceedings." https://t.co/lqJ0JTg1l6 — Kyle Griffin (@kylegriffin1) June 17, 2017

Rep. Ted Lieu (D-Calif.) said Friday that Congress would come together and “begin impeachment proceedings” against President Trump if he fired special counsel Robert Mueller and Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein.

“All Americans, regardless of party, agree on the fundamental principle that no one is above the law,” Lieu said on MSNBC. “And if President Trump were to fire Deputy Attorney General Rosenstein, and then [get] special counsel Mueller fired, I believe Congress would begin impeachment proceedings.”

They pummeled him to about a 30% approval rating when he left office.
And that was after 8 yrs of kissing their asses (AKA "the new tone") hoping they would like him.

Now, as a result, almost no one likes the sob.

Many of the rest are too young or ineligible to vote....and it looks like the balance are too lazy to do something.

Nah. Not going into 2018. Not a chance. It just would never come up for a vote.

You are blaming Trump’s tweets? You think the Democrats would stop if he quit tweeting? It doesn’t matter what he does or doesn’t do. How did that work out for W?

*Why is that Hillary Clintons family and Dems dealings with Russia are not looked at, but my non-dealings are?*

I looked at Trump’s tweets. Most were informative.
But tweets like the one above... can’t the President call for an investigation on this instead of putting this tweet on there?

Twitter is not made to explain much... one liners either inform or gripe.. inform is better... With all the President of the United States has at his command, surely there are things to bring to bear on these haters who just want to attack.

I’ve heard his lawyers say what he should do, but I don’t see it being done. Who is putting the ‘cabash’ on it?

“Over what? The president has the right to fire any appointee.”

But, but, the trogs have spent a lot of effort setting Trump up to be found guilty of .... something, surely you don’t suggest they should have to start over with a different investigation. Think of all the pre-written stories the lsm would have to scrap if the names/charges are changed.

The GOPe will be right up there with them starting impeachment, they all will at some point.

No way. They'd be in big trouble trying.

There should be ethics complaints filed against both in the appropriate bar jurisdictions.

Keep drumming the conflicts of interest theme. Hit them with it over and over. Threaten them with lawsuits and ethics complaints

Cut their fn budget to nothing. These bastards should not be making $$$ over this. Screw them

Demand their immediate resignations

Fire their asses

The process starts in Congress, not the Court and the man hasn’t done anything impeachable!

You are right for the most part.Except I would remove the the “media” qualifier from your first sentence. The media despises Trump period. Hindsight is 20-20 so yes, most of this could have been avoided with a different approach starting with Session’s idiotic recusel. But here we are, he must do something about Mueller or he will be gone. Replacing him with someone who actually is objective might work.

If he stops using Twitter then the media - his enemies - will entirely control the message. Twitter is the means he has to go over the heads of the Propaganda press. You may argue you don’t like what he says on Twitter, but he must use all means at his disposal to counter the media. George W. Bush shrunk away...did that work?

I am entirely in agreement with you that he needs to take action now to stop this endless and perverted “investigation”.

And what was it I said in my previous that was picking a fight (the implication of your last sentence)? I just stated my opinion respectfully, and didn’t cast any aspersions on anyone here.
