Anger over the Grenfell Tower disaster could lead to riots on the streets, it has been claimed.
The horrific fire, which has left at least 30 people dead, has left the local community angry and frustrated.
Politicians including Sadiq Khan have been heckled at the scene and locals even shouted "where are you going?" as the Queen and Prince William left the site today.
And hundreds of people are expected to attend a 'justice' rally in central London tonight.
Now, a local councillor has warned there could be "unrest in the streets" if council chiefs don't step in.
Eartha Pond said that if local authority doesn't act quickly, civil unrest could erupt.

Anyone -— even the lowliest human being— has a right to expect that their housing will not be a death trap by design.
By “design” I mean the contractors, inspectors, and housing authorities knew the cladding was highly flammable, ignored warnings and went with it anyway.
There’s criminal liability here.
“Je suis MATCHES”
Current estimates range between 85-140 MILLION dead due to Communism/Socialism. And, let’s throw in 65 MILLION abortions or so since 1972, just for good measure.
So, probably just another few dozen deaths and then the Commies will finally realize it doesn’t work and will give it up.
*SMIRK*
If this is the case, I'm sure the fire's victims felt some comfort knowing they were "being taken care of".
Maybe someone was practicing the fine art of bomb making.
Thanks, doing a Churchill and Beatles tour.
did everybody forget that adults holding babies jumped from the Trade Towers?...
"...meth being cooked on a stove..."
Weren’t most of the residents of this tower Muslim? Then, I wouldn’t be surprised if the burn the rest of London down.
As I understand it the flammable cladding was illegal according to old UK regulations, but was made legal by the EU.
Which means the building was up to code, at least as far as the cladding goes.
The fact that the cladding was a fire hazard is something we’ll have to take up with the Green lobby.
I’m interested in how a fridge blew up - if that’s what actually happened.
Even the lib fools in the US are oblivious to it.
OMG! OMG! OMG!
Nicely done!
(I was going to say, ‘Well done,’ but considering it was a fire...) ;)
“a local councillor has warned there could be “unrest in the streets” if council chiefs don’t step in.”
“Council chiefs”? We’re talking about England, right? not some indigenous tribal group?
Thanks for that interesting EU-Green connection.
Hope popular anger can be channeled in an effective direction.
When all is said and done, it will be determined that this was an ill-kept public housing project, but the fire was begun by sloppy or - worse - evil tenants intent on creating harm. It then spun out of control.
One of the inspectors noted how often the tenants would disarm the alarms more times than not. And the stairs for escape were riddled with peoples suitcases and belongings. Additionally they often used appliances etc. in ways they shouldn’t. Further they removed the directions for escaping in case of fire...
I understand this was public housing...(Council housing) and many were refugees, foreigners etc from third world countries where they are accustomed to being told what they can and cannot do...independent thinking is new to them. So deciding to leave the complex was not something they could do...too many ‘waited’ for instructions.
I actually saw a video of a ME women “inside” her apartment videoing the flames, who had just flared some....on the outside....she’s filming that while there’s smoke clearly in her apartment......you could hear people in the hallway tell her to leave and she refused.
Many of these people also have great expectations of how their host country ‘has to’ treat them. They were promised certain things by the pamphlets their home country put out to them if they left. .....which was propaganda to get them to infiltrate Western nations.
At any rate...third world people are not in a place to complain.....if they don’t like where they live then they should do like all the rest of the people do....move somewhere else. Unfortuately these people are used to getting what they want by demanding it....compulsive complainers, which many are, makes it hard to tell what is really serious and what isn’t.
Many will see this as case to sue whoever has the money they can go after. Third worlds know this game very well.
When I first started visiting London in the late 1970’s it was the rich Saudis moving to London. My last visit was a month ago. It has definitely changed from decade to decade and although I love the city, I wouldn’t make my support for Trump known in public. As I did confide in friends there, don’t assume all of us were disappointed with the November 2016 results.
