Attorney General Jeff Sessions will be testifying before congress today and his former democrat colleagues have promised to tear him limb from limb. Fired FBI Director James Comey previously testi-lied that it was his opinion Jeff Sessions was placed inside the U.S. Attorney Generals office to coordinate with Vladimir Putin. Gottabe a spy, ohmygosh.
AG Jeff Sessions response will take place at approximately 2:30pm EDT today. Tickets for the circus level fiasco are sold out and media are breathless with anticipation.

Who does Mueller answer to?
Lol, bullshit!! With exception of arner and perhaps one or two lib Senators who attempted to bully Sessions (and those to pushed back on) he did an excellent job.
Have no idea what you watched. And BTW, if Sessions saids he was required to recuse himself per regulations then I believe him.
But the investigation is "critically important". Sessions said so.
You made a compelling response. I would have to go back and listen to Sessions’ precise wording to see if it did in fact neutralize his reason. It may have.
I’ll try to wade through his testimony and come up with a more complete response.
Until then...
“If Trump fires Mueller it is all over!!! That is the trap.”
I agree 100%. Trump can not fire Mueller and I believe he knows it. He will be impeached by his own party.
Parts of it are important. For example, who manufactured and who leaked the fake “dossier” that Comedy used as a basis to keep this Russia BS alive?
Notice that HRC is quiet again and not running her insulting mouth.
Heh heh....
Lynch thing got you upset old gal? Squirming in the woods?
I have a feeling Sessions is pizzed. And, he just may decide to instruct the new FBI Director (when confirmed) that it is full speed ahead against the 3 cronies. LL, HRC, JC. Heh, heh, you like orange pantsuits right Hil?
I don’t understand your question in the context of what I said. The special counsel was appointed by Rosenstein so it seems that he would be answerable to Rosenstein but Rosenstein is answerable to sessions who is answerable to the president so ultimately the president controls the special counsel and can fire him.
But again what is your point?
Holder had the color shield and a lifetime of insolence on his side. The entire bozon administration got some color shield and it was very effective.
Sessions got on his feet a couple of times.
It is hard to believe though that Sessions asked for this hearing. I’m still trying to figure out what he was hoping to accomplish.
The deck is stacked, evil usually wins, man is by nature evil and that is why it is so hard for good to prevail and so seldom.
I’m surprised that Trump did not know better than to have missed the opportunity to clean house when it had a good excuse. After just a short while of having former people on the new team firings look retaliatory instead of necessary. Good managers know this and clean house in key spots early. Trump was hamstringed by the difficulty and delay of his appointments as well so it is not all his fault.
Tillerson did it right with the slaughter of the State Department Admin section. Tillerson knows the ropes and how things are done. Lots of experience there. One day and done and started with the most sacred cow in the place. Make your point early, cut off a few big heads, grab ‘em by the balls and at least their minds will follow.
True. The Comey testimony was helpful too.
It's really the recusal, the independent council and Mueller that I have an issue with.
“keep clam Mr President - and Lock her up! “
She is a rotting clam!
Thank you for a good response instead of the ad hominem attacks and lack of civility that usually accompany any comments of disagreement on this site.
For the most part we are all on the same team wanting the same things but see things differently.
Sessions recused himself. So in this case, isn't Rosentein not answerable to Sessions and Trump?
But again what is your point?
You brought up the subject of the rule of law. So responded with the above question about the rule of law.
“Its hard to get the brain around the fact the FBI director is crooked. All of the government has been compromised..”
Stuff will be finally coming out about Harry Reid that will blow your mind. Still ongoing.
It breaks my heart that in the FBI there is no one who will stand for the people and this country against Comey, Lynch, Obama, Hillary. No one to stand up for Trump.
Now Mueller has the meanest and dirtiest investigators hired to go after Trump and any others.
The questions were purposeful regarding Trump thinking about firing Mueller- to get Sessions to state whether that would be allowed, be ok, etc.
They are plotting and planning what if scenario.
How could a supposedly upstanding, good deputy DOJ appoint someone like Mueller as a SC when everyone knew he was Comey’s mentor?
Why didn’t Sessions make mention of the fact that the investigators hired by Mueller were associated with Hillary and that if Pres did fire Mueller, it would be because of conflict of interest. Sesions was asked about would there be any valid reason where Trump could fire Mueller.
Everyone can have a conflict of interest except Trump.
28 CFR 45.2 - Disqualification arising from personal or political relationship(a) Unless authorized under paragraph (b) of this section, no employee shall participate in a criminal investigation or prosecution if he has a personal or political relationship with:
(1) Any person or organization substantially involved in the conduct that is the subject of the investigation or prosecution; or
(2) Any person or organization which he knows has a specific and substantial interest that would be directly affected by the outcome of the investigation or prosecution. ...
(c) For the purposes of this section:
(1) Political relationship means a close identification with an elected official, a candidate (whether or not successful) for elective, public office, a political party, or a campaign organization, arising from service as a principal adviser thereto or a principal official thereof ...
Sessions did a good job of beating down the canard that firing Comey is a violation of his recusal. The recusal is to one investitigation, which persists regardless of termination of the head. It is ludicrous to prevent Sessions from management of depatment heads under him, based on a one-case recusal.
He also did a good job, repeatedly, of knocking down the canard that Comey was fired because of "muh Russia." Sessions and Rosenstein and Sessions had all discussed Comey's radical departures from institutional norms, and really took notice when Comey said he would do it again.
Why you dirty rotten,... LOL
I was responding to “Meet the New Boss” there.
Thanks for the note.

Not one R has dared put himself on a limb for TRUMP. No. Not one. They may talk an issue related assent to something another, but there is no real defense of TRUMP by name. No. not one.
The tiny tin eared few that have peeped out some positive word are damned LATE, and don’t really care if Trump swings in the wind, or not. No. Not one.
These players are not invested in TRUMP, or the will of the people who miraculously saved our nation (for MAYBE four years) by getting TRUMP elected.
UNIPARTY!
Compelling because who knows what crimes will be uncovered in the process of hunting for imaginary “Russian” interference. Hacking? Or leaking.... and who did the leaking? was it Seth Rich? etcetc
I don’t think anything that harry has done could blow my mind. I already think the very worst possible of him.
Only that he, hrc, wjbc, bho, pelousy, lynch, jarrett, kennedy and others have gotten away with so much totally unscathed blows my mind.
