People at the scene have claimed the incident is a "terrorist attack".
Twitter users have suggested seeing "bodies" at the scene.
Reporters for Daily Star Online have seen people fleeing the scene and running away from the bridge in tears.
Police have cordoned off the area as they deal with the incident.
Emergency helicopters, ambulances and police cars have all been sighted in the area.

Depeche Mode just finished their largest UK concert a few minutes ago in London and had really stepped up security for the show. I guess security within these concerts is one thing but when masses of fans leave the venues it’s a prime target.
I’ve seen that photo between 50 and 100 times now, and it is still very disturbing to see. I saved the largest version I could find at about 2200x1400. I’m a pretty strong guy when it comes to stuff like that, but we have many people here who aren’t. If it’s bothering me, it has to be bothering them a lot more.
