This is not about money. It is about power and control - of every living, breathing human being.

That’s what pops into my head.

They must be well positioned to make money from the scam.

“Tons and Tons of Money involved”. You had better believe that. As with every Political event, just “Follow the Money” to see what is behind it. Money is the Mothers Milk of Politics and that will never change. These screaming CEO’s see Trumps decision to back out of the Paris Treaty as nothing more than a big hit on them personally or the future Profit Margins of their Corporations. As usual, it is always about the money.

If you read the statements made by all the deep pocket companies involved, you’ll pick up on their concerns very fast. It is all about their bottom line. Oh, they throw in a tear for the environment every so often but the main concern is $$$$$$$$$$$$$!

Only very large corporations will be able to afford the new and larger taxes, and major increases in operating costs. Small businesses will die and the huge companies will have no competition.

To heck with innovation and the competition keeping companies on their toes. Just have Government shut down all competition and the CEOs and Boards of Directors can just shovel money into their personal bank accounts without having to work for it.

[CEO Elon Musk’s suggestion that he would quit his positions on several White House advisory councils if Trump’s decision is to exit the deal...]

If he has ‘suggested’ that, I wouldn’t give him the chance to quit, I’d fire the disloyal loser.

The CORE ISSUE is MONEY.

It's the MASS distribution, worldwide, of BILIIONS and BILLIONS of U.S. TAX DOLLARS to those already lined up at the financial feeding trough constantly refurbished by our Federal Government.

The U.S. foots the bill.. everyone else simply PARTICIPATES.

Exxon has been running those biofuel commercials. Wonder what sort of government subsidies are involved.

Well, for one thing, this accord would single-handedly wipe out a major energy competitor. The oil companies do have a lot to gain financially by eliminating the coal industry.
