Barron Trump was watching television Tuesday at home with Melania when Kathy Griffin's photo appeared on the screen, and his initial reaction was that something terrible happened to his father.
Trump family sources tell us Barron was in front of the TV watching a show when the news came on and he saw the bloody, beheaded image. We're told he panicked and screamed, "Mommy, Mommy!" As it was put to us, "He's 11. He doesn't know who Kathy Griffin is and the head she was holding resembled his dad."
President Trump blasted Griffin for posing with the head, saying, Barron was having a hard time dealing with it. Griffin has apologized.

It’s all over the world:

“Like it or not, its Free Speech. Its Uncivil, Rude, Pornographic Speech and Tasteless, but that isnt Illegal.”
But there are limits on free speech. I cannot yell FIRE in a crowded theater.
OTOH, many tea partiers were “investigated” by the IRS et al during the dark obama days. Their freedom of speech was punished, one could say...
Poor kid. Griffin is a monster.
“Born: November 4, 1960 (age 56), Chicago, Illinois, USA”
Wow. Not aging well. Would’ve thought she was 15-20 years older.
Is abominating nature unhealthy or something?
"Waaaahhhhh! We'll be good, Mommy!"
It’s one thing to seek out grossness knowing it is on a printed page or in a movie or on the net/TV. It is entirely different to see what looks like your father’s decapitated, bloody head.
Long ago, we took my son to a movie. He was 9. I can’t even recall which film, but at one point he ended up in my lap, head buried in my shoulder, crying at something horrible on screen. He was in what I then called *goat boy* phase and nothing ever seemed to bother him, but that scene did.
Boys may seem to seek out grossness, but a lot of it is bravado and self-desensitization. They are also one way in a group of peers and another in reality. Telling that he screamed “Mommy”. Kids revert to younger stages when really affected. I’ll bet Barron usually calls Melania “Mom”.
Tyler Shields who shot the video with Griffin:

“This is a sitting President, what hell is wrong with FBI, CIA, Secret Service, put her and Madonna in jail...If I did this black helicopters and black SUVs would be all over me as they should...”
Correct me if I am wrong, but didn’t some citizen get grilled back in the day for refusing to shake hands with President Clinton?
An 11 year old would be finishing up 5th grade. I'm trying to think back - I believe by that age a lot of my friends had been allowed to watch some of the popular slasher movies, but my parents had prohibited it for me. And that may be the case with Barron. He lives in a building that can't possibly have more than a half dozen children his age, goes to private school, and has a doting mother - so it seems possible and likely that he has not been exposed to too much blood and gore yet. Heck, even as a middle aged man, if I were to see such a spectacle with my own father's head, it would be disconcerting.
I've occasionally wondered about what ISIS or a similar group would consider to be the 'ultimate' terrorist attack...and I believe it would be the capture and videotaped torture and murder of a US president. So, this thing is unfunny on many levels.

Why there are posters here that don’t “get” this fact is astonishing to me!!!
..”Hearing only crickets from the left - where is the outrage?”...
More so....Hollywood’s absolute silence on Griffin’s Sick ‘Art Project’ is loud and clear for their lack of any condemnation...Deafening Silence that speaks volumes!
Add intention to inflict mental anguish to a minor on the list of charges.
I gotta come down on the side that says this is free speech. Disgusting as it is, I think it is free speech. I am sure that in the run-up to the American Revolution there were many instances of burning King George III in effigy, which is similar to this Griffin stunt. I hope Griffin suffers for it (she won't), but I don't think that what she did was against the law. I think what little outrage we have heard from the left is fueled by their embarrassment over Griffin doing what they all want to do, but want to keep secret.
It's true that had a conservative done this with Obama, he'd be audited by the IRS at a minimum.
No one with half a brain accepts this phony apology. Is it any wonder that someone who supports a woman (Hillary Madoff Clinton) who defended the rapist of a 12 yo girl and destroyed the evidence, and attacked women who were violated by her own rapist “husband” would find this amusing?
Unless they can prove her actions incited Violence against a Sitting President, it’s Free Speech.
You know, what the Democrats, Entertainers and the DNC Media do every day against President Trump
BTW - I’m sure the Family of Daniel Pearl and the other Victims of ISIS are thrilled...
This was a bloody, severed head of his father. There would be a reaction
yes, there would be a reaction; but do you seriously think the level of described hysteria would be it, or that he’s that out of touch with his father to not know it to be an obvious fake...?
Yes and a grandmother went to jail because of something she shouted at Clinton’s motorcade in passing...
Actually, I’ve noticed a media blackout on this today, at least online. MSNBC and ABC make no mention of it. CBS and CNN have the story, with the photo, except its missing the severed head. Fox has the story, with no photo at all.

But... Trump spelled a word wrong in a tweet! Maybe he was even trying to type Russian!

She blew any chance that her Apology was genuine when she made comments during the Photoshoot about her expected reaction to the Photo.
You mean she’s an evil bitch?
