At least two separate news organizations are reporting that three distinct leakers have been identified at the White House and that President Donald Trump is expected to fire them when he returns from his first overseas trip. “CBS News has confirmed from two sources that three leakers of classified information at the White House have been identified and are expected to be fired,” CBS News reported this week, adding, “Officials within the Trump White House believe leaks of Mr. Trump’s conversation with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov are a ‘deliberate attempt’ by officials who are holdovers from President Obama’s administration and are trying to damage the Trump presidency.”

There needs to be more than just “firing” for this...I’m amazed President Trump would even keep Obama holdovers around in areas of sensitivity like this. They should have been let go very early on in the process.
These leaks don’t just “damage the Trump presidency” - they damage the security of the nation and our allies. The press reported it as though Trump was responsible for the sensitivity of the information getting out and causing issues for our allies who share intelligence even though it wasn’t Trump who leaked the information, and he also decide to publish in it the specificity that the press chose to do in order to cause the damage to our national security. The leakers were responsible as well as the press for how specific they were in reporting it. It appears national security and safety are secondary as long as it can be used to damage Trump personally...but the damage done goes far beyond than that done to the President. And there is a lot more leaking going on than this. A full fledged criminal investigation should be impaneled to identify who is responsible and get them removed.
There are 1,859 direct reports working in the Executive office of the president... they all went on that trip?
sorry..but i blame alot of this on Trump himself...him and his people should have known better..he actually thought they were gonna give him a fair shake once he won. Especially the way he campaigned, i thought for sure he was gonna clean house. The first clue was the electoral voters getting threatened with violence...that was a first for me, what did the FBI do??....nada. Trump had to cancel a few campaign events due to organized violent protestors..how did that FBI investigation go?..This is all out war...Sessions is not the man to go to the mattresses with...

You are so right and that’s what bothers me about the holdovers and leakers. You and I arent billionaires or ceo’s yet we have enough sense to have fired them on day one. It’s quite disturbing.
Charge them and yank their security clearances.
They will be economic anchors for the next employer.
