Democrats reeling from a devastating election face a daunting task: the 2018 Senate map.
It favors Republicans in a big way. The GOP will be defending just eight seats, while Democrats must fight for 23 plus another two held by independents who caucus with Democrats.
Whats worse is the fact that many of the seats they must defend are in states won by Republican Donald Trump
. Midterm elections for sitting presidents are historically challenging. Democrats in the Senate are hoping to find some political momentum for 2018 given the difficult playing ground.
Here are 10 Senate seats that could flip, in alphabetical order:

So what are you going to do give up??? Instead of fighting???
HL27, along with ridding the Senate of a bunch of worthless RATs, we need also to rid it of a bunch of RINOs. It isn’t a good bet to let the RINOs stay on either. Hatch, Flake, Corker and maybe Heller and Cruz need to be shown the door. Although if we can get a couple of seats over 60, it will make the remaining RINOs less effective. And the festering problem is that in 2020, the numbers will be reversed with only ten RATs and 22 Republicans up for re-election. So 2018 is a must have election, because the 2020 election will be pivotal and Trump and the Republicans will need to have a list of accomplishments to tout to keep control.
Yes.
The link may have been posted wrong. There’s a “)” in the title that looks like it doesn’t belong there.
Cruz is not a RINO as I roll my eyes.
Yes, and we also here in Utah have an open Represenative Seat now that whimpy Chaffetz is leaving...
We don’t need these globalist RINOs and GOPe people, we need good hard working Patriots, Military people perhaps, we could try them, what do you think???
Thank you, Thank you!!!
Has any of Trump's signature legislation been passed into law? What has McConnell done other than confirm Gorsuch.
So we can vote for the Repubs (Dem-lites) vs the hardcore Dem leftists. Voting for the lesser of 2 evils is what its come to be. The gutless Repukes are lukewarm spittle.
Knowing what McTurtle was why was he re elected in Kentucky??? what has he ever done for anyone...the people of Kentucky, Arizona, Utah, Nevada, California, New York, New Jersey, PA, need to get to work...
Hatch, Heller, Corker and Flake all voted for Rubio’s amnesty and need to be Cantorized in the primary.
They are now blessed with a President that will sign just about anything they send to him. So why THE HECK don't they get together, find a few issues that are obviously important and good for the little folk (and no, not tax breaks for them and their paymasters) and pass them? I'll answer my own question.....it's because they don't give a damn about us or saving the nation!
Can't we all, across the political spectrum, join hands in disgust? The swamp things we send to DC have absolutely no intention to accomplish anything, even if it's obvious and good for the US and our citizens. It's all about them, and having a President that puts US citizens first is something they cannot tolerate.
grrr......
