The Manchester massacre underscores complaints from counterterrorism analysts that Europe has fallen into denial about the threat of Islamic terrorism.

With regard to Islam, they define themselves love and others as hate. Yet they see Muslims as victims of liberal secular society, but are haters.
The liberal solution to their moral dichotomy is “if we just show them love, they’ll heal and convert to liberal secularism!” This view defines liberals as evil oppressors of the Muslim victims who rightfully hate us, but we can heal them by being beacons of love and letting all the Muslim terrorist murders go. It is maternal impulses to excess as government policy.
This excess of empathy is literally killing people.
