Sean Hannity announced tonight on his Fox News show that he will no longer discuss the July, 2016 murder of DNC staffer Seth Rich — for now, anyway.
“I totally completely understand how upset… how hard this is on this family, especially over the recent coverage of Seth’s death,” Hannity said, adding that he had reached out personally to the Rich family to offer his condolences.
“Out of respect for the family’s wishes, I am not discussing this matter at this time,” Hannity said. You can see Hannity’s comments in the video above.
Hannity’s announcement came after he received considerable criticism for promoting a conspiracy theory alleging that Rich provided internal DNC emails to Wikileaks, and that Rich may have been killed for doing so. Rich was shot to death last July in Washington, D.C., in what police have investigated as a robbery gone wrong.

DotCom, who is an unreliable source, didn’t deliver any evidence and his narrative was full of holes. DotCom may have been a misinformation bomb.

Seth Rich dressed up as a Panda and the family had a stuffed panda next to his brother when they taped that segment for ABC News. Of COURSE he’s “Panda”!
You could tell Hannity was on edge last night. He’ll be gone from FNC soon I believe.

They sure did. I do give him some credit for trying to steer the narrative. Maybe better he stays quiet until he knows for sure. Play Murdach’s game of silence for the time being. Also get his plan b ready, cause he will be out soon.
I stated this on another thread. Sean Hannity is through. He backed down for personal gain, instead of speaking truth to power. Those who sell out for “a greater good” (or whatever) are narcissists who somehow feel they have not sold their souls. Hannity is now part of the coup. He can never be believed again.

I suppose I took this a different way. You have to put the entire segment in context. I took it as him announcing that he wasn’t going to report on the matter until he had all his ducks in a row since it is likely to cost him his job.
He contrasted this to playing clips of the Dems admitting there was no evidence of Trump campaign Russian collusion with the MSM proceeding full tilt with the story anyway. He also played clips of the MSM relaying the wildest of conspiracy theories, i.e. Putin colluded with Trump to give the US an excuse to launch missles into Syria so that it would help Trump.
He was clearly sending a message to the Murdoch brats and their wives who are doing more financial damage than if they divorced the brats and took half. The MSM engages in wild conspiracy theories every night. They publish the most outrageous of lies. Yet Hannity follows a story that is plausible but has admittedly factual challenges and it’s the end of the world? Hmmmm.
This is troubling at a high level. Somebody doesn’t want their impeach Trump for Russia narrative ruined.
The Judge and Sean H have both been castrated, which makes them milder, more predictable “news” “men”.
Reminds of of Janos Kadar who was riding high as a dictator in Hungary until the little rebellion against the Soviets. They moved in and removed his family jewels, and he was good boy from then on.
The news stories about Seth Rich are right over the target. That’s why folks are taking so much flak over it.
