Police warn people to stay away from the Manchester Arena area following reports of an explosion.
Here's what we know:

:: The arena was hosting an Ariana Grande concert and the "loud bangs" were heard just after the concert ended
:: The cause of the bangs has not yet been confirmed

Witnesses saying they could hear the blast(s) over a mile away from the stadium.
“It doesn’t make a whole lot of sense to set off a bomb at the end of a concert.”
Perfect sense. They turn the lights on at the end of the concert...the would maximze terror for survivors or wounded.

Another witness Jenny Brewster told MailOnline: ‘We were exiting the building when it happened. We’d headed towards the main doors as Ariana was performing the last song because we wanted to beat the crowds, but – as we made our way there - a wall of security men blocked it and told us to go the other way.
‘Seconds later they shouted ‘RUN!’ and the explosion happened right behind them. Hundreds of people were running and screaming. Those men saved our lives.’

Sky News just showed video from a car camera about 1/4th of a mile away from the arena, and you could hear a massive muffled explosion, even over the radio he had on.

That’d be interesting ... the politician was part of the Liberal Democrat party :-).

Makes you wonder if a bomb squad guy went up with it.
